She is pandering by playing on people's emotions. Politicians do it all the time. She just goes to 11 more often than not. As no one is punishing her in any meaningful way she can get away with it just like any other politician

No. Pelosi got the majority of the Dems to vote for the Senate Bill. AOC's vote was a non-factor completely. Smarter Dems figured out that rejecting the Senate Bill would create horrible PR. AOC didn't figure that out.
