The lightning icon on the top right corner shows latest posts. It also has a few different tabs for recent activity depending on its type: new posts, new profile posts, etc.
Lightning icon?
Zeus must have taken mine, because I don't see any. :)

The new software doesn't need manual separation of individual sections in a post. Once you place your cursor at the end of a line and press Enter (or a corresponding key on a phone to start a new line), the software automatically separates your response from the quoted segment.
This is one feature I really like. It eliminates mistakes that can easily occur... like missing a quote, or forgetting to close quotes, etc. It's makes responding to long posts, super easy. :)

I just want to say that when I first logged in after the upgrade, I thought the forum had experienced a major crash. My heart sunk. Whatever we're going through now, it's far better than being without it.
Imaginary winner frubal for you!

I could see myself using the "angry" frubal on a lot of political news. (I.e. angry at the politicians/officials, not at the poster.)
Yes, I think it can be useful in areas like that.
It would be similar to the funny rating which is allowed in the jokes and games forums, and so on.
The mods can set the rules on that, and still allow it... restricting abusing it, as was the case with the funny rating.

The "love" frubal (the smiley with hearts for eyes) conveys something much different than the simple "heart" frubal. The heart frubal could mean "I support you" or "I love that." The smiley frubal conveys some kind of bombastic enthusiasm. It isn't the same.
The heart eye guy seems lovestruck...
I used the <heart> to show sympathy.
Same.
I often used <informative> to recognize humorous claims by friends.
Same there, too, though it was also good for acknowledging it was read, and I appreciated the tidbit of knowledge.

LOL! The Alerts are messed up! Not only does it not show a red number of how many new alerts you have gotten (it doesn't show any notification at all now), when you manually look, it says I have a new alert for "tomorrow"! :)

Is this the new "Prophecy" feature, where it tells you when and who will reply to your post in advance of them doing so? Can I request that it also tell me tomorrow's winning lottery ticket numbers?

You can but I wouldn't trust it.

It told me Bitcoin was going to be worth $1,500,000 a piece this morning. :(
