Is anyone else having difficulty clicking any of the other frubals? I am on my phone. I hold the like, the other emojis pop up, but I can’t click them

I can on my phone. The pop-up appears after holding the "Like" button for a second or so, and then I can let it go and click one of the emojis.

@Polymath257 This is your chance to test whether LaTeX works with the new software! :D

If it doesn't, try enclosing it in between [ICODE ] and [/ ICODE] (without spaces) and see whether that works.

Yes I agree. It's a shame to have lost the "winner", "informative" and "friendly" labels and indeed the faces are a bit too crude to want to be associated with. However if the search function is really working again that's a plus for serious discussions, though not much help for the sort of cheery badinage I look forward to so much from you.:holdinghands: [this symbol is an attempt to indicate friendship: message ends]

The admin CP allows us to add and disable ratings as we see fit. If retrieving the old ratings proves technically unfeasible, we can add more ratings manually.

We are looking at why this has happened and how we can recover the information if needed or find out why they are not showing.
My guess is that the former "like" is the current "like" but there is no equivalent to the former "informative", "creative" or "friendly". "Winner" could become "Love" and "laughing" could become "ha ha" but that would need an SQL script run over the post database.

Its true...

For someone with the facial expression of your average yard brick, the new emojis are a little overwhelming!

I'll cope with it by making rude gestures at @Secret Chief while he isn't looking.

Yeah, the update is still a work in progress. There are kinks to iron out yet.

I'll take this process over the malfunctioning software we had, though. At least now we can fix and change things to the staff's and members' liking without worrying about the whole thing going south.

Yes, do forgive me if I seem over critical. I'm still waking up, and haven't finished my tea yet....

It was needed, and I understand the bugs take awhile to work out.

Typically, my morning routine is to respond to 'easy stuff' until the brain starts working(don't listen to @Secret Chief , my brain does work sometimes). Nothing's 'easy' at the moment, but it'll come once I get used to it, and bugs are worked out.

I'm confused by 2 things:
1. Is there a way to look for "recent posts"?

2. When I tried to reply to a long message, there was no code for me to copy to separate sections [ QUOTE="xxxx, post: #######, member: #####" ] and I had trouble choosing to bold certain words -- how does one turn on any sort of legacy editing interface?
