How does one fight laziness to make salat?

Personally I don't, no. But then you're going to get people telling you to not look at any sin as if it is a small sin etc. And that your brain can be corrupted because your heart is corrupted because of the listening to the music and everything else.
.

I agree with what you are saying, personally I don't like to over complicate my religion, maybe I am wrong in doing so only Allah knows best, I dont like making Islam into a complex mathematical equation(Ive always been bad at math :)), "dont wear this" "dont shave" "hate dogs" etc, I like to skim it down to what I think is most important. And that is trying to be a good person, and following the five basic pillars..everything else is just difference in perceptions and opinions..and I have an opinion too :)

Lets get this thread back to Salat..I have to go pray Fajr later :D

Strict Sunniyyah is becoming more dominant in case you wish to know. Wahhabi back organizations are funded by Saudi Arabia and tend to get more broad appeal then any other scholar of sound mind.
You notice that most dominant shuyuh that are well known have a Saudi Arabian backed education in Islam.

These are the guys who will be doing most of the thinking. Regardless though most Muslims do not listen to them thankfully. They pick and choose from these words.

I have known kids who get advice from an imam at their local mosque and walk right out ignoring it :D.

I personally have never known a Sunni shaykh or alim who has stated that music altogether is halal. Most will specifically state that music(all kinds) is haram on all conditions. They usually become hypocrites on live television often I will add.

Only Shia and Sufi leaders have specifically stated that music is halal under certain extents, such as not listening to an anti-Islamic metal band.

when i hear the call of prayer saying come on to prayer come on to the success, i don't bear in my mind it's a man who calling me to go to the mosque in that rain to do prayers, but it's Allah, Allah is calling me to stand before him, to talk to him and to talk to me, so then i feel shameful not to accept his invitation and say to him oh Allah, i'm sorry, i'm busy with work or wife or feel lazy to leave the warm bed to go pray in that rain during dawn
and so i go do ablution and go to the mosque to do it, this how i beat this laziness
maybe it works with you, maybe not.
