123 WPM is exceptionally fast. When I started learning how to touch-type, the fastest I could do was 40 WPM. That was nearly two years ago. I think the average typing speed is in the 40-50 WPM range.

If you want to try increasing your typing speed, I suggest using the touch-typing tutor called TypingMaster. I used it for about a month until I could finally master the keyboard and start increasing my typing speed.

You also type way faster than I did when I first started using the software mentioned above, so that could definitely be an advantage for you.

Try real typing like us old guys had to do 40 years ago. I had an old manual, wasn't a good typist, and we still had to turn in term papers typed. Needless to say, I typed slowly. One error and you had to redo the whole ___in' page. Kids these days have it made.
