How is the Christ Redeemer statue not decaying the nation?

I forgot they are not from this region. Shame on me. Some of them from corn field production towns, some of them from England and some of them from Israel.
And yet they all manage to have a better understanding of Rio de Janeiro than you, who seems to think of the Christ Redeemer as something out of a H.P. Lovecraft (or perhaps Colin Wilson) tale.

I don't think they know this region, like me and you know it.

Maybe, Luis can you teach you something about how similar they might be.

Maybe you can teach me why you believe an idol has power when Islam clearly states idols have no power.

For that matter, maybe you can teach me:
  1. Why you are obsessed with the Christ of the Redeemer statue and these strangely magical affects you believe it has;
  2. Why it's okay for Muslims to engage in idolatry but not anyone else.

Every action has a reaction. If this action is corrupted, then what are the chances the reaction is corrupted also?

No one does. Yours and mine are very much mutually incompatible understandings.

How so? How can it be incompatible? I thought you were an atheist. Why would you ever want to keep this statue? Don't you wish for your brother what you wish for your self?

Telling you guys something about South America is like telling it to somebody who is from Siberia. Their world is made of harsh winters, and summers full of mosquitoes. So, they have no idea what I'm talking about.

Have you been to South America, sovietchild?

I've spent quite a bit of time there over the course of my life, as a substantial proportion of my family derives from there. My father was born in Argentina.

The reason for the confusion is that everyone but you comprehends logic. Your whole contention is:

1) Brazil is the murder capital of the world
2) Brazil has a large statue of jesus
3) Conclusion: the statue causes all the murders in Brazil.

Watching you try to defend your "logic" is even more ludicrous.
