How might people learn to love with the kind of love that the world needs?

Jim

I’m inviting whoever wants to, to explain what kind of love you think the world needs, and any ways that you can think of that people might learn to love that way.

(edit) Try to think of some ideas about how it happens sometimes, that people learn to love with the kind of love that the world needs. (end edit)

I think all worldly living beings are here to experience whatever life they are living. Who am I to say what the world needs, let alone what kind of love it needs? I'll do me; you do you.

One way I try to describe the kind of love that I think the world needs is warm feelings and friendly intentions towards all people everywhere, and towards all of nature. People might be aware of it sometimes when they’re doing what they call “communing with nature.” It’s a kind of love that people have for their children sometimes, and gardeners for their gardens, and artists for their works. It’s a kind of love that loves beauty, and loves to see things thrive and flourish. It’s a generous, nurturing kind of love, that includes a willingness to sacrifice for the fruits of its efforts. It seeks nothing from its beneficiaries, no reciprocation or rewards, or even gratitude or recognition.

Love begins with the person, him or herself.

Just know who your friends and family are.

Fear fuels greed, and greed fuels competition, which turns us all against each other. This is the "system" that now rules our culture.

Compassion, kindness, and generosity alleviates our fear, which then alleviates the greed and competition that has turned us all against each other. So that we can live in peace and unity, again.

The love we need these days is the love that sees ourselves in others, and they in us, so that their well-being and our well-being become the same well-being.

Do you have any ideas about how it happens that people learn to love people that way?

We have to somehow stop buying into the fear-mongering that's going on 24-7 in the news, by politicians, and by corporate entities who are all making money from it. The more we fear for ourselves and our own, the more others become irrelevant to us, or even potential enemies. And a society in which the citizens have all turned against each other as competitors is a society in collapse.

But I have no idea how to convince people not to buy into the fear-mongering when the society and culture they've lived in all their lives is falling apart before their very eyes. It's becoming a self-propelled spiral into an abyss of selfishness and chaos.

I could probably name a few cliche ways, but I'll recommend something more fresh...

People should use music that they like as an avenue of healing and exploring their negative feelings toward a subject. How I do that is just play a song and self-reflect.

I do not think we can force ourselves to love anymore than we do. For treating other people i think we can all maintain a civil standard though. The civil standard i am thinking of is to in principle regard the rights of other people.

On a quick check here, I'd say you could use

stting on your fiddle.

What the world needs to do is to Love others Unconditionally. Remember, Unconditional Love does what is Best for the other. It has never been about giving them everything they want.

To do this, one must change one's view. One needs to work at being selfless along with the desire to help others advance forward, learning and growing to a Higher Level. It is never about Me.

Me!Me!Me! I have seen it all over the world. People fight to get!get!get! They do not realize everything we do will return in time. Those who Give!Give!Give! will end up getting much more than those who scratch and claw trying to get. I think it's a lesson we all must learn at some point in time.
