How should the Christian Church treat homosexuals?

you are the one with the problem with self righteousness thats why you lie to yourself and others...:)

I say: Jesus never said anything about homosexuality.

You say: Jesus did say stuff against homosexuality and would not accept homosexuals.

Who is lying? Who is self-righteously judging others? :)

No...you're a pro at making everyone's comments into whatever you want.

I'm looking forward to some honesty from you at some point.

your point has been the same all along, to twist God's word to make it seem ok to be gay and a Christian...the thing is you know it's not true you cannot be gay and a Christian....:)

How can you be right with God if you believe he condemns homosexuals?

because it is true, any sinner who will not repent, turn away from their sins is not saved, it does not matter what the sin is but you must repent, stop doing that sin...

a murderer cannot accept Jesus and continue murderering...:)

I bow to your greater knowledge you seem to think gays can keep being gay and be saved.....:)
I am not to sure with my convictions on this one as being saved is 'nt from what we do or don't do but what Christ did. I believe Christ will except all who come to him.
The Holy Spirit will definately convict what is and is not sin though if you are saved and as all continue with faults and sins they will still reap consequences.

its a point of repentance at the point of accepting Jesus, if a sinner has no intentions of stopping a sin they cannot have been saved...:)

That's not what I meant: what I'm asking is: I brought up the point that most (if not all) people who suffer from homophobia are covert homosexuals themselves. You didn't argue with that so I took that as agreement (or a confession if we're going to call it a "sin").

So what I'm asking is: if God has a problem with homosexuals, and you already admitted my theory was valid, how can God be OK with you?

You know it's interesting that the most outspoken homophobe is often a closet homosexual, and their vitriol against homosexuality is rooted in their self-hatred for who they are.
