How should the Christian Church treat homosexuals?

I was talking about you though. The dilemma I see here is: you've already said that's it's OK for you to be gay, as long as you keep it to yourself.

I'm just wondering, doesn't that make you feel conflicted? I mean it's like you're choosing one sin (lying) over another sin. I thought all sins were the same?

I never said any such thing....:)

because it is true, any sinner who will not repent, turn away from their sins is not saved, it does not matter what the sin is but you must repent, stop doing that sin...

a murderer cannot accept Jesus and continue murderering...:)
Of course there is that whole "love" and "forgiveness" thing that God does that you seem so keen to dismiss.

You need to read back through our conversation then. It's pretty obvious that you made no objections when I suggested (twice) that you're personal objection to homosexuals most likely stems from your own unacknowledged identification with that very group.

That being the case, and since now you say that being gay is a sin whether you hide it or not, how can you still claim to be "right with God"?

See the contradiction in all this?

you tell me you are trying to say being gay and saved is ok...:)
See, the thing is, you get waaaaaaay too worked up over the "gay" part, and show little to no concern at all for the "saved" part. From one Christian to another, you seriously need to sort out your priorities, IMO.
