How should the Christian Church treat homosexuals?

Those in the Christian church should treat homosexuals as anyone else, speaking the truth with love. The church is not to condone sin, but to encourage believers to remember what Christ has done to wash us and set us free from sin and the lusts of the flesh so that we may walk in newness of life. But if a person is a non-believer, homosexual or otherwise they cannot be expected to live according to God's word.

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God. 1 Cor. 6:9-11

Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s. 1Cor. 6;18-20

What the.....? 81 PAGES? :cover:

Remember when a while back in this thread I suggested that the Christian Church should just leave us alone?

I'm offering that point up again for consideration after reading some of these responses. ;)

Kind of like sticking your hand in a bees nest and getting stung over and over and crying for the bees to leave you alone.;)

With that kind of response, you can't be a Christian.

Homosexuals have more to teach Christians about their concept of Jesus than any Christian who adheres to fundamentalism or the Old Testament could ever hope to learn.

Exactly what I said leave gays alone don't let them in don't bother with them if they are ready to change they will come to the church themselves...

It would be nice if gays who are not interested in change would do the same and stay away....

you're perhaps over-generalizing. what is the specific point of disagreement that you're referring to?

generalisation always happens when they discuss "the church or organised religion" they like to think all believers are the same yet all gays are individuals...

And for what reason would a homosexual desire to wander into a hornet's nest of demons?

All believers are clearly not the same, since I am a believer who disagrees with you on several points.

By the way, nice generalization you just made.

for what reason would two gays want to go to a known Christian bed and breakfast???

For the fact that Christians do accept homosexuals for who they are rather than rely on an outdated cultural concept grounded in an abysmal ignorance. Christians who actually understand the meaning that Jesus, or Yeshuah, preached rather than that of an impostor religion that did nothing more than impose an outdated view of sexuality by an impostor called Paul.

Of course, many people of simple mind who can do more than parrot forth lies spilt forth from a podium by the modern evangelist who feel that their own genitalia is threatened by the facts of nature's own development continue to spill forth this ill begotten seed known as the Pualine Acts against sexuality of the insecure male continue the nefarious thought such an ill begotten seed known as tradition.

Which side do you pour from?

Do you perpetuate this noxious nocturnal from a disgruntled Jew who claimed forgiveness for his own means or do you understand that which nature's eye has given us to discern the deluded from the actual?
