It was a rather mundane day. I made vegetarian borscht for breakfast, and eggplant spread for lunch. Took one of the kids to his occupational therapy. Dealt with kid arguments, drama, and tactics most of the day. Got irritated with the person who was supposed to be doing the windows but instead followed my husband around trying to shoot the ****. My husband found a nest of carpenter ants in the wall when he removed the paneling to put up sheetrock. I took the kids for ice cream while he used power tools to remove pieces of the wood to address the issue. Soon, I'll have to clean up the hoards of toys that are all over so I can roll out my mat and go to bed.

How was your day?

It went well. I had yet another productive day. Later, I ran by another motorcycle dealership to try out an adventure touring bike. I'm totally thinking about the Ducati Multistrada V2 or V4 right now. Very impressive machines. I may try another Beamer again. So many wonderful models and companies to choose from.

My animals greeted me lovingly again. That made a good day better.

Oops! How rude of me. How was your day?!:p

That's how I am with food, too. I'll eat it forever, or until I get sick of it.

I have been a real wreck today. I knew today was going to be difficult because I had to go to the PO Box to get some important mail and then to the library to make copies and then to the Bank to fill out forms, then I had to go and pick up my new computer glasses, all that in the middle of a hot day with traffic. I left one of the original papers I was copying at the library and a nice patron turned it into the library staff so now I have to go pick it up tomorrow. That is a long way to drive since I live in the country.

It was the day of remembrance for my father and mother (Shraaddha, to rever). So, early bath, wear the sacred thread, remember, charity, and then salted potato fries and tea. Apart from one meal, that is what was permitted for me. Otherwise usual.

It’s 6.33 in London so my day has just begun. It began well though, woke up in time for prayer and meditation without having to rush, saw Jupiter on the western horizon and the waning moon to the south, and the bus arrived just as I got to the bus stop.

I've been tracking the moon lately; it seems to have disappeared. Must be too far south for me to detect with all the trees in the way. A shame; I enjoyed it illuminating the room at night.

I hope you have a good day.

So far...
Woke up.
Fed the cats.
Bathroom for shower etc.
Had breakfast.
Got the kids up.
Made their breakfast.
Saw them off to school.
Cleaned the kitchen.
Got hubby up.
Changed the bed sheets while he was in the bathroom.
Emptied the washing machine of its overnight wash of towels
Loaded the washing machine with the bed linen
Hung the towels outside to dry.
Vacuumed and dusted the lounge
Put the coffee maker on.
Posted this post while it's doing its magic.
And it's now 08h20.
Coffee break in a moment so really its just another day in the exciting life of christineM

Same as every day, go out to the barn crack o dawn and feed & water all the critters
brushy-brushy the ones that will stay still, hug the ones that will stay still
(usually the donks both cases) and muck out the stalls. Good times, keeps me alive.
(No, really, if I didn't have my critters I'd be dead.)

Pretty good day overall. Worked for about 3.5 hours. Then went home mopped my floors, and started some laundry. Then I swung by the food bank to get some additionals. Afterwards my wife and I headed to the airport to pick up my best friend who has flown in for the week. From there we all went to the park and let the dog run around while we caught up. Once we packed the dog and ourselves back into he car, we headed out to an Italian restaurant for dinner. Before returning home to BS some more while watching TV. And.... Here I am now about to go to bed.

I used to work on a hog farm, those kind of chores are very enjoyable - and animals are just amazing to work with (even though some of them can be a hassle).

What critters do you have?
