How We Can Rid Our World Of Evil

Yes, the quarantine solution was mine and I'm answering for it. However, you were asked to defend your solution: "I think a more effective solution would be to remove the sex organs of whomever committed a rape." You didn't have a good answer for my question.
Sorry, I misunderstood your post then. Yes, removal of sex organs for those that are convicted of a rape. Child molesters and violent offenders are different crimes which would require different punishments.

I think it impossible to get a religious education because religion begins with faith and education begins with doubt. The two ideas can't coexist.

Great teachers want their students to doubt all claims they hear, even the claims made by the teacher. In that way, only truth survives.

In the world of man these things may seem impossible but with God all things are possible.

As I wrote in the OP:

"But evil is merely a perception. If we humans were to see sickness and not evil. We would think of quarantine and not punishment."

So, we humans can rid the world of evil by changing our perception of evil just as we rid the world of legal slavery by changing our perception of slavery from moral to immoral.

The practical advantage is that the quarantine for sick, harmful acts could be a life sentence of a normal, unpunished life, yet one isolated from the general population who would live in a safer world.

 I guess we just devolve into the enigma of "What is evil?"

'evil' is 'profoundly immoral and malevolent'
'malevolent' is 'having or showing a wish to do evil to others'

but also
'evil' is 'something that is harmful or undesirable'

So perhaps we can arrive at a world without evil if we perfect the practice of ahimsa (non-harming).
Or maybe evil can never be gotten rid of, because all it takes is a change of perception and it's back!

We humans got rid of LEGAL slavery in the world by changing our perception of it, from moral to immoral, one mind at time. In doing so, we made a better world.

We can get rid of evil the very same way and it will make a better world by changing the flawed crime-and-punishment solution to a much more likely to work sickness-and-quarantine solution.

Moreover, with modern communications technology, able to move ideas so much faster from mind-to-mind, it shouldn't take a couple of centuries to make it happen as did the abolition of legal slavery.

But if 'evil' is just a 'perception', then do we really ever actually get rid of anything? If the perception was that slavery was not evil, then would slavery still be evil? If so, then why?

Long ago, when the perception of slavery was that it was moral, we treated it as LEGAL. Today, slavery, which we see as immoral, ought to be seen as a sickness and slavers should be quarantined rather than imprisoned.
