How will Trump accomplish a miracle? A question for Trump supporters.

The following is a direct quote from Donald Trump, just a few days ago, trying to get some of the female vote back.

To me, it's exactly what I expect. And I suppose to some of his base it expresses some sort of truth about what they can look forward to when he is re-elected. These are his own words, verbatim, as quoted on television for everyone to see, so don't accuse me of taking him out of context.

"We have to end this national nightmare. Because i am your protector. I want to be your protector. As President, I have to be your protector. You will no longer be abandoned, lonely or scared. You will no longer be in danger. You're not going to be in danger any longer. You will no longer have anxiety from all of the problems our country has today. Women will be happy, healthy, confident and free.
But what I cannot understand is this: how does anybody -- even Trump himself -- think he is going to accomplish this absolute miracle? How does he think, that by him being President, women won't feel abandoned (even when they are), or lonely or scared (even when they are for good reason)? How will he protect them from being in danger from the things that they've always been in danger from? Where will their anxiety go? What is it that's going to make them "happy, healthy, confident and free?" Especially when the medical profession has this little problem with keeping them healthy after a miscarriage or other event associated with maternity?

I pose this question to everyone who thinks he accomplish one, just one, of those promises: HOW IS HE GOING TO DO IT?

And then, if you can't answer the question, will you admit he's a fraud?

I don’t watch TV and since there’s no link to verify or see context, I am taking your word he said this. In any case, if Trump said he could be everyone’s protector, remove anxiety, or have every woman be happy, healthy, confident and free… I say there’s no way he can do so.

Trump often does alot of rambling, and when he does IMO she shouldn't be taken seriously., Just like when he said he was gonna build a wall and have Mexico pay for it, everybody knew he was full of ****; this rambling should be looked at as the same.

No doubt he's rambling here. I doubt it's going to amount to much as most people are more concerned about the economy and the border foremost.

Does he have some sort of messiah complex? Nah, that requires empathy.
It does?

From the absurdly huge amount of attention I have given to Trump's speeches, my best guess is that he has long given up on attempting to be convincing, and I doubt he ever attempted to make logical sense.

Instead, he just decides how he wants to be perceived and which words might conceivably play into that perception and spouts them at random intervals among his self-glorifying.

To want that to have anything to do with the reality of facts is to seriously misunderstand what he means.

I think the flaw in your question is that MAGAs don't use reason or lucid thought where it comes to the criminal candidate. Trump knows what he's doing in reading these absurd lines written by Stephen Miller, or some other propagandist. These kinds of screeds are irrational and absurd, and no rational person can make sense of it. These are written to appeal to the emotions of insecure people who want to worship a leader. These obedient ghosts don't use reason to make sense of what he says. They accept these words at face value, and applaud. It's a toxic co-dependent relationship. He has nothing to deliver them except the emotional satisfaction of this relationship, which is built on targeting their enemies.

Even the MAGA members on this forum have been posting less and less, and it is evident they realize they can't defend their support for Trump in a way that critical thinkers demand. The more extreme and absurd Trump and Vance become the less his supoprters can defend it. The "pet eating" thing has totally backfired on Trump/Vance. The fact they aren't smart enough to drop the hot potato is just more evidence of their poor judgment.

Trump is talking a lot of bull**** to win the election, like he always does. However, America needs a conservative President with conservative policies and that is what Trump can bring to the table.

It's not just rambling. It's wildly delusional and ego-centric rambling. And it's deliberately intended to get people to see him as their messiah. As some sort of divine father figure.

This is not sane, healthy behavior.

He was reading the teleprompter. I watched the video of him delivering these lines several times. I looked at the men behind him and some of them seemed bored. But they still clapped when he was done delivering these lines. I have to think most of these people don't take these lines seriously, but they like the overall claim of power and authority. He's almost like a movie character they root for, and they suspend all awareness that he is an actor doing a performance.

I really think this is how MAGAs relate to Trump, they treat him like any fictional character in a movie that they know isn't real, but they have learned how to suspend all awareness of reality. How else can we believing that Frodo Baggins really went to the afterlife way too early in the Lord of the Rings trilogy? We all know it's fiction and he's really just Elijah Wood, an actor playing a fictional character, but we still cried. I think MAGAs are aware there is a man who is a conman, a convicted felon, a liar, a cheater, but who also plays a character who is reading lines, saying he will protect them from imaginary enemies. MAGAs live in an imaginary world much like any of us can do when watching a movie. The difference is rational minds switch back to reality when the fantasy is over.

Why does Ameica need a conservative president?

What conservative policies are superior to what liberals offer?

What makes you think Trump is interested in any policies or governing?

Can you justify your contention that America needs conservative policies? Many nations are doing much better for their people through considerably more liberal policies. Looking at developed democracies, most are higher on the happiness index and much lower on the murder index. What's more, almost all are more liberal than the United States. So why are they happier and less deadly?

What is equally fascinating is why the entire republican party except for a few are not correcting him on anything he says. Every time a republican is questioned about what he says, they all give a translation into something completely different than what he says. It seems that trump should have a translator right next to him so that they can translate what he says into English. I have tried to find language option on google translator but I cannot find the language trumpspeak. They will definitely need to add this language translation to their selections if he becomes president.

Why would you say it is fundamentally different from this Obama speech?

But as hard as it may seem, we cannot lose hope, because there are people all across this great nation who are counting on us, who can't afford another four years without health care, that can't afford another four years without good schools, that can't afford another four years without decent wages because our leaders couldn't come together and get it done.

Both are vague, emotive claims that have no realistic chance of success (perhaps excluding the healthcare statement by Obama)

Obama is more articulate, but both are making aspirational claims about the future that can’t realistically be delivered.

They rely on the same logic that solutions lie in simply fixing the system/draining the swamp.

Political rhetoric is far more often about tone and sentiment than deliverable realities.

Yeah. The guy that wants the job as spokesman for the nation can't speak a word of honest intelligible English

@It Aint Necessarily So tried feeding one of Trump's longer quotes into Microsoft's "copilot" (which I haven't tried yet). It did fairly well, actually.

Trump is not conservative, he is a populist barn-burner who is only out for himself. The only way to get a conservative is for the Republican party to dump Trump and go back to their roots.

No, he is not my protector and never will be and can’t accomplish it. We are also a 3 part government and no particular branch can make something happen alone.

And then, if you can't answer the question, will you admit he's a fraud?

“A” does not equal “B”. He has become good at being a politician. If this makes him a fraud, then Kamala is also a fraud. So it is a matter of which “fraud” one wants to vote for. :)

I thought the same thing when I read that post. MAGA is NOT about conservatism. It's about fascism. It's about forcing their agenda on the rest of the nation. That isn't conservatism. They actually despise conservatives.
