"Humans are born as atheists"

I will flip the coin and do likewise

last weekend I heard a radio preaching about the inherit belief in God
we all have it
That is false. We have a tendency as humans to believe in a higher power, but we are not born with a belief in a specific deity.

Look at it logically.

A entails B = If A then B
If ignorant of the concept of God one is necessarily without (lacks) belief in god.
I'm too intoxicated to look at it logically.

1. Belief is the acceptance ("true" value assignment) of a statement.
2. Belief requires a. something to believe in, and b. the capacity to assess it true.
3. If someone is ignorant of a thing, they have neither 2.b. the capacity to assess it true or 2.a. something to believe in.
4. Belief (#1) cannot happen.

Now some people want to say it can happen, but that burden is on them.

That was just about as straight/simple as an answer can get. I'm merely going off the definition of the term "atheist". What are you confused about?
Just waiting for a relevant answer to my question in post 1253.

"What definition of "personhood" does it seem atheists are only applying to people? Personally, I've never seen atheists as a whole do anything with the term "personhood" in regards to people. This is all very strange."

No it doesnt. Where'd you get that from. I'm not equating it with disbelief. I'm equating it with lacking a specific belief.
In what way is a belief "lacking" if you are in any way unfamiliar with it?

The answer is that it has nothing to do with you or what you believe. It has to do with a third party.

I agree, you cannot believe in something you are unaware of. Thus, you necessarily lack belief in everything you are unaware of.
