Howdy howdy!

Still alive and kicking. :)

I had an acute infarct in the upper left lateral thalamus. Small stroke that damaged mobility in my right arm and just a little mobility in the rest of my right side. I can walk, talk, eat, smile, and many things. My right arm is what's semi dead right now.

I am expected to make a full recovery. It'll take time and lots of therapy, but I've gotten this far in life, I shall manage.

Love bunches! <3

WHAT?!?!

I'm up early to catch a flight and see a thread like this? Starting to wonder if I'm still snoozing...

Well, all I can say is take care, rest up and be back to full Mysticness asap.

In the meantime I can try and cover for you in Chat, etc.

I'll get some tassles and crazy juice from somewhere, don't you worry. Not sure my dancing will be up to scratch though...

Yep it's true. Looks like hormone therapy was the culprit. I'm off estrogen for life now.

Better to be here though.

Ohhh, Heather, that is pretty crappy. I had a similar thing about 18 months ago when one day my left arm stopped working.:eek:

I have a spur on my 5th vertebrae that pinched a nerve or summin.... anyways, every day and in every way, you are getting better and better. Keep up the happy thoughts.

I hope you are doing well, sister/brother. I had a stroke 2 years ago.

If you don't mind, may I pay for you ?

The Most High God, we ask that Mystic Sang'ha be healed. We ask that she overcome her stroke, and live a prosperous, full life. With Your mighty hand, guide her to the right doctors and touch her brain and muscles, so that she can fullfil her/his purpose on Earth. I ask that you be kind to her, and assure her that someday she will be In Heaven with you, despite what she may believe. Amen ! Rudddd Ruddddd Ruddddd

Uh oh :(
Has Jesus started the smiting already? No wonder my ears are so pluggy.
In case it isn't an abrahamic issue, I'll have Doug pour sacrificial libations on me while I lie naked on the back patio when he gets home from work.
Then I'll hope for the best for you and yours.

And dancing?

Thank goodness. Best wishes and I hope the full recovery is swift.

If anybody could...still, I hope that it will take less time, therapy, and energy than predicted. Please update us all whenever you have the opportunity!
