Nothing is made as they did before. Everything is made to be low cost and not actually meant to be fixed by homeowners them self. That is not only China products, that is also American products.
This cost consumers a lot money over the years to have throw stuff out that doesn't last and constantly replace it. It also costs the environment with all the waste generated. This cheesy mass production only makes a hand full of folks rich. There is no shame. There is no pride. Because I have technical knowledge as a former automobile mechanic by trade as well as an AS in computers, I can keep some crappy stuff up and running with a little ingenuity. Most people feel the need to throw out their computer because a virus slows it down instead of running malware-detecting scanning software first or reinstalling Windows if necessary as I do. This makes the higher-ups at Walmart, Gateway, HP, Dell, Acer, Toshiba, eBay, Sony and amazon.com all very happy. I have same desktop PC under my desk that I built myself 10 years ago.

There is not much in the way of American products these days. The best American products of old were built by the craftsmen from Europe who immigrated here 100+ years ago. In the 1960's - 1990's, the Japanese built the best cars, motorcycles and pickup trucks for mechanical dependability and overall economy. Toyota is now building cars and light trucks on American soil and the are top-notch. The inferior Fords, GM and Chrysler stuff are largely made in Canada or Mexico. Frigidaire was solid household appliance brand back when General Motors was building them here. My grandma's Jet Cone Action GM/Frigidaire washing machine was built like a tank in 1960 and ran over 20 years. The Japanese led both cameras and consumer electronics back when the brand Sony Trinitron and BetaMax were well known. The western Europeans and British once built the best wood furniture and guns for hunting ever. The Russians could build great weapons of war: they even beat the Germans on the eastern front. The MiG jets were no slouches in dogfights. Always buy a Russian AK-47 and never a China clone. I can't say the Russians do well for carpentry, HVAC service, home window replacement and automobile body and paint work, however. Some of the shoddiest such work I've seen was from Russian immigrants in and around Sacramento, CA.

Yes we have become a society of use then throwaway, that is true, but that does not mean you only have to use American products, most of the stuff you buy in store are no longer made in your coutry anyway. and there is little or nothing to do about it, I kow because i been trying to get rid of all things in my life that comes from America, but i can`t because then i would not be able to live a life today

Most of the stuff that's even on the market for the American consumer comes from China. It's that stuff that is junk.

Tell me which non-China or non-India country makes any of the following that I can buy right here in America, brand new and right now:

1. lawn mowers
2. refrigerators
3. cameras
4. computers
5. washing machines
6. clothes
7. shoes
8. hats
9. dishes
10. pots and pans
11. TVs
12. stereos
13. printers
14. electronic music keyboards
15. radio-controlled model toys
16. freezers
17. dishwashers
18. electric fans
19. furniture
20. 100% cotton bed linens (some of the sheets from India don't last long these days)

For shooting equipment, high-quality Leupold rifle scopes are made in Beaverton, OR. Many guns are still made in America and Europe. The best guns come from Europe. America still makes some decent guns. Top-notch craftsmanship has been underappreciated for decades now. Everybody now wants instant gratification and Walmart is king at providing such. Consumers today don't seem to care about how long something will hold up. Traditional consumer products are most overlooked. I still need a washing machine to clean my clothes and a refrigerator to keep my milk and eggs cold. The most expensive smartphone won't even do that.

I still wear a classic Casio LCD watch. I don't walk around with a phone in my hands like all the rest. It takes me split second to turn my wrist to see what time it is.

Well first of all Nikon camera being made in Thailand.
Samsung TV, Mobilefone, Cameras are mostly made in Vietnam, a few products in China.
Electrolux Make some in Canada and some in Mexico.

But yes, because it is from 50% and up less expesive for producents to make their things in China India and other Asian countries, they will do it to save money. So it is not China or other countries fault, it is actually the manufactor in Europe and USA that do the fault

You throw away money in the long run by having to replace crap that doesn't last. My Hoover vacuum is China made these days. It was not uncommon for tube television sets to last 10-15 years back when tube television sets were still made. My China-made Samsung HD Smart TV LED 40" flat-panel is 5 years old now and still running without one repair yet or one burned-out pixel. Samsung seems to be the better China-made stuff, electronics-wise. My Samsung China made 20" LED PC monitor is six years now without one bad pixel.

So why are you complaining about Chinese made stuff if it's working for you? Oh, the parochial casual racism, right.

Maybe you should have thought of some of this stuff before supporting Donny Dollhands, prince of cheap Chinese knockoffs?

Cultural purity.
Let's return to the pure America of large herds of buffalo roaming the plains, no more cattle or horses and everyone living in handmade portable wigwams. And all white and black folks who don't want to conform will be expelled to Europe or Africa (they can choose which). Let's make America pure again! (and while we're at it, let's change the name of the continent and quit having borders).

Samsung is one of those rare exceptions. I wish my "Hunter" oscillating fans also had "Samsung" from Communist China quality. There is one Japanese (Asian country) name that I proudly own and drive: TOYOTA. My 1995 Corolla DX was built in Fremont, California. Tundra trucks are proudly made in Texas and Tacomas are proudly made in Georgia.

I wish all the stuff from shoes to toasters in Walmart had TOYOTA quality as well.

Do you know patriot is a French word?
About half of English words were borrowed from French thanks to the Norman conquest. I should say the Normans injected French words into England's native tongue by force. English was originally an all-Germanic language.

All the words in red above are from French, Latin and/or Italic origin.

FRENCH is actually a Germanic word meaning "pertaining to the Franks". The name FRANCE even comes from the Germanic, in reference to the Franks, though the French are technically Latin/Italic/Romance language speakers.

German, Dutch, Swedish and English are sister languages.

The culture of the United States of America comes mostly from western Europe and predominantly Britain. Our Constitution and the Uniformed Code of Military Justice is based upon old English law.

Pizza, spaghetti, bologna, ravioli and lasagna from Italy.
Beer, frankfurters (hot dogs), pretzels, french fries (oddly) and hamburgers from Germany.
Doughnuts and coffee from Continental Europe.
Whiskey from Scotland and Ireland.
Classical music.
Western harmony.
Western civilization.
Colonialism, capitalism and imperialism.
Western arts and humanities.
The Christian and Jewish faiths.
Republican form of government from ancient Rome and Greece.
Guns and gunpowder from Europe.
Most American surnames from Britain.
Western philosophy.
Modern sciences and mathematics.
Precision hand craftsmanship.
Modern medicine.
The English language.
Our national flag colors and Miss Liberty from France.

America, distinctively, is the only former British subject not a member of the Commonwealth of Nations. We Yankees owe allegiance to our flag and respect to the names of Our Founding Fathers, not homage to the Queen of Mother England.

Beer is Egyptian, gunpowder is Chinese. You're so wrongheaded.

Your land was stolen from the natives. Your constitution was I believe also inspired by that of the Republic of the Netherlands, the birth place of stock market capitalism which is causing so much suffering around the world today.

But just like with Australia and South Africa you had no right to impose your selfish gready European culture on America and one day you will have to repay that huge debt which you created in those unjust times of genocide and cultural annihilation.

The pride you feel is comparable to the pride of the Aryan Brahmins in India who were also descended from white invaders who subjected the indigenous populations. The difference there however is that their cullture had to give way to the superior culture of the coloured tribal people of India.

Already your European culture has degraded considerably which is clearly visible from the huge economic inequalities and injustices in your nation and the destruction you have helped bring to the climate and natural life of this planet.
If you think you can escape the backlash of what you did, you are wrong, it has already started.

I doubt it's that high, as English is an amalgamation of primarily English (obviously), French, German, Latin, and Spanish (pretty much the entire cowboy lexicon). We also have numerous words from other languages, such as Japanese, Chinese, Yiddish, Native Americans, Africans, Swedish, Russian, Portuguese, Italian, and of course Arabic. But, grammatically, English is still very German. We even have tons of the same weak/strong verbs that conjugate more or less the same.

We have a few Celtic borrowings in English as well and quite a few Greek terms as telephone, astronomy, aristocrat, homophobic, diplomacy, biosphere, hippopotamus, philanthropic, metropolis, idiocy, agnostic and anarchy. Most of the Italian terms are musical and culinary as soprano, sonata and fortissimo as well as ravioli, spaghetti and salami. We have very few words outside of the Indo-European language group. Most of them are Hebrew names from the bible as Ruth, David, John, Jonah, Noah, Esther, Adam, Abraham, Eve, Joshua and Mary. BOONDOCKS is from Asian/Phillipine/Tagalog origin. The classical language of India, sanskrit, is allegedly mother of all European languages. We have a few Hebrew words as well and the bible is full of them.

Which suggests, to me at least, that English was sorely lacking so we adopted words from other cultures and languages (or sometimes objects (futon) or activity (karaoke)). There may be only three prime colors, but you can't paint a rainbow with just those three, and you have to blend and mix them to get a full spectrum of color.

Nothing liberal up there in the OP, mate.
