One of the biggest mistakes people make is thinking God is a Lord. All Lords are men. A Lord in the OT is a man that wants to rule with the power of a God that can kill anyone he wants to die for opposing him. God is a deity, Lord God is a King that wants to rule like a Pharoah telling his people he is a God and like a Pharoah he hands his Lord God crown down to his bloodline sons and what they want they have scribes write Lord God wants because he is a jealous King God that demands war and destruction to gain power and wealth.

In the New Testament Jesus accepted the title Lord as a teacher only. Lord is a title of respect given to kings, princes, military commanders, landowners, slave owners and even husbands. Jesus denied he is God, denied he is a son of man because he is the son of God. Jesus refused to be a king rejecting the title even when people called him one, refused to fight/kill people to gain power, owned no land, taught against slavery and wanted no one to worship him even though some people did anyway.

I have seen the similarities in the religions also but realized an important element. Stories accepted in the past were used as a base to explain by symbolism, of what will happen in the future.
The symbolism and personifications in the Bible are all about the final war on Earth. Babylon in the past was a city ruled by an all powerful king. The Babylon of the future is the Nuclear power industry . It is a city because it connects industry and homes with electricity. It makes merchants rich with cheap electricity. The nuclear power plant is always built by water, has to be to cool the rods. The power plant sits like a queen proclaiming to be safe for the public she serves because she is well cared for but she is a war target and will burn with fire when attacked. Her harlot daughter that all the kings/rulers of the world desire made from waste is a nuclear missile made from nuclear waste. The power plant offers the ability for advances in the medical industry with Xrays etc. so she is desired by the people as doing good.
A nation is called a mountain in the Bible and it is protected by the foothills that must be crossed over to reach those that are at the top of the mountain, the government. Those nuclear missiles sit on 7 hills, a hill in scripture represents a nations military and 7 nuclear armed nations will fight in WW3. Those that use nukes will have nukes used on them. It is probable that Iran will attain nukes and be the first to use them on Israel that starts the Mid East part of WW3. The first nuclear missile launched that starts WW3 is called Lucifer.
The Bible describes a sea of burning glass as a result and that is what happens to a desert city that is totally destroyed. The heat of the nuclear blast so intense that it melts the sand into glass that fills the crater where the city once stood, making it look like a sea of glass with flames flickering on the surface. Those humans disappeared in an instant from the thermonuclear blast.
Isaiah 29:5
Moreover the multitude of thy strangers shall be like small dust, and the multitude of the terrible ones shall be as chaff that passeth away: yea, it shall be at an instant suddenly."
The Bible describes when bone fragments are found a marker/flag is placed by it. It is not picked up by the populace for burial. Hazmat will dispose of bones because of the high levels of radiation. Dead people from radiation will lie unburied in the streets because people must quickly evacuate cities covered with high levels of radiation unable to pick up their dead without dying themselves. Scripture states pregnant women will especially mourn and that is because if they have been in a fallout area, their child will be born with severe birth defects.

Where does he teach against slavery?

Jesus said love one another as family and those that are exalted are to serve others. Does a slave master want to be told what to do by the slave? Of course not, the slave owner does not want equality with the slave, he wants inequality with people to do what he wants done if the slave wants to do it or not by threat of being killed by the slave owner if he is not obeyed. A slave owner wants freedom for himself but not for his slaves.
Service to each other to form a good and caring society with total equality is what Jesus taught.

1 John 4:16
And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him."
No slave owner loves a slave as much as they love being a slave owner as they have no love for the God given right to not be another person's slave. The slave owner does not want to BE a slave, so has no desire for the equality among people with love that Jesus taught.
Jesus never owned a slave nor did he have any desire to do so even though Jewish households owned slaves they called servants ( that were not allowed to be free) just like the Romans did.

Or Israel just copied and riffed on a Persian myth. Because that's what religions do. There are hundreds of statements in scripture said by God hat never came to pass and it's never made an actual prediction that happened. It was said in many ways that all nations will bow to Israel and Yahweh. That didn't happen.

Paul said Jesus was in that temple sacrifice room making sacrifices and Jesus said he was not in that room. Jesus never made an animal sacrifice and did not allow his disciples to make them. Jesus whipped temple priests for demanding animal sacrifices and drove both the animals and the priests out of the temple. Jesus commanded for all nations to become water baptized to remove their sins thus forsake belief in human and animal sacrifices to a God. The living GOD does not AND NEVER DID ACCEPT BLOOD SACRIFICES. The Jews that believed in it were lost sheep following heathen traditions as truth.

Jesus sent a man he had just healed of leprosy to the temple to show the temple priests that were demanding people be killed for their offenses that GOD only accepts those that heal people, are kind to people, that help people in need instead of those that kill people or demand to be paid money for them not to be killed.

The OT supports animal sacrifice. But the biggest problem with all this is Jesus is a magic blood atonement sacrifice? It's in Paul and also Peter.
If you are going to take the leap that Paul is lying why can't you just go the whole way and see the whole thing is just a story based on popular religious mythology? The Gospels are the least reliable documents? anonymous, not eye witness, dramatically different re-tellings?
