I dislike the EU and I intensely resent US monitoring of my life in Europe

I dislike the EU intensely. Anti democratic, unelected bureaucrats telling us all what to do. Running things as they want them.
I think the US government is paranoid, aggressive and dislike the manner it flexes it's muscles beyond it's borders.
Now the shower in the European Parliament have given the US authorities access to European's bank data.
I have noithing to hide except an overdraft but I am disgusted at this :(
Big brother, how are you?
Outrageous

So do I. :clap

And all they have in mind are their own interests, how much money they can get out of us.

BBC News - US to access Europeans' bank data in new deal
Why don't they simply invade us as they have Iraq?

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
Gosh, Stephen, haven't you heard? One world government, one currency system, and global economies are all the rage now!

Don't worry - you'll hardly be able to feel the tiny microchip. And if you don't want it inbedded in your hand, it can be inserted inconspicuously right above your hairline.

Given my lovely skint noodle it's going to take them a while to locate the hairline :D

That notwithstanding I'm really ticked off over this.
When did my private details become the property of some plonker in the European Parliament to gift to some faceless organisation in the US? It's not right.

Hairlines don't stay very stable in males over time.............

I agree with you, Stephen - and I also think that people outside the UK should be alarmed by this as well.

TMI, TMI!

My New World Order alarm is going off like crazy these days.

I agree with your rant.

Shame as I like the idea of the EU but it doesn't work.

But Stephen, don't get madder at the US than you do at the EU - the EU is the one giving away your information.

Question is: Why do they give information about their own citizens to a foreign government?
Perhaps because they have been promised the informtion about these citizens, found out by secret-serive activities from USA side, would be shared with them?
Kind of " we give you the data & let you do the job" agreement?

If it makes you feel any better, many Americans intensely resent the US monitoring their lives as well.

a British friend of mine told me that the English Government monitors all phone calls and internet useage? Talk about big brother watching. Point is I agree the Government needs to stop being so nosey and leave us alone!
