I have another question for YOU to ignore

I have heard from some people that everything has a spirit.
My refrigerator seems to have one. According to the belief that everything has a spirit,
is it possible that my refrigerator has one too?

I think you are stuck on the word testify. You can testify to yourself. Can you not?
What would be the purpose? You either believe something is true, or you do not. Why in the world would you need to testify to yourself about something when you already know the testimony?

That is what I am saying, except that we need God to know what is right when dealing with other people, that is why it is a commandment. See how you have made it mean two things? Does it mean both? OR if you take it to your heart to mean the second one you say, then the first one will be impossible to do. IF we do not harbor false witness to ourself, then we can't give false testimony.

Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. WHO said that?
It doesn't matter if it means both. Adhere to both conditions. That is the right thing to do anyhow. Don't lie to yourself, and don't lie to others. Don't lie about yourself, and don't lie about others.

I thought of another angle.

YOU say "do not give false testimony about others, and do not harbor false witness to yourself."

If it means the second part of what you say, the first part is taken care of.

BUT

If it means the first part of what you (and the Bible) say it doesn't cover the second part.

Also,

If it means the second part and Jesus comes to you, and he can read everything, yes, everything, you can have a fine conversation. You won't be muddling up the conversation with a bunch of unsubstantiated claims because you obey God's commandments.

Didn't Jesus say that the heart is what sins?
Just don't lie. Don't lie about others...don't lie about yourself, don't lie to others, and don't lie to yourself. It doesn't matter if one sort of lying is different from another, just don't lie to anyone, including yourself.

Sweet, but, I am talking about the word "against".

Try it!
Don't lie about against others...don't lie about against yourself, don't lie to against others, and don't lie to against yourself. It doesn't matter if one sort of lying is different from another, just don't lie to anyone, including yourself

I am going to define against again, if I already haven't.

in opposition to; contrary to; adverse or hostile to
in resistance to or defense from
into contact or collision with; toward; upon:

If you lie something GOOD does it count against the commandment?

2The king of Jericho was told, "Look, some of the Israelites have come here tonight to spy out the land."
3So the king of Jericho sent this message to Rahab: "Bring out the men who came to you and entered your house, because they have come to spy out the whole land."
4But the woman had taken the two men and hidden them. She said, "Yes, the men came to me, but I did not know where they had come from.
5At dusk, when it was time to close the city gate, they left. I don't know which way they went. Go after them quickly. You may catch up with them."

So....lying is not always bad. Correct?

Then, why a commandment?

Now, if Rahab had held a false impression of the messenger and her king, she might have given up the spies. Is spying not bad? Is obeying your king not good?

When she opened the door and she saw the messenger of the king, she obeyed Exodus 20:16 (my way)

YOUR way has her disobeying it.

OK?

A man takes a beautiful woman to be his wife. He thinks he loves her because she is so beautiful.

But, you see, beautiful does not mean good, kind and able. Does it?

Hahah God says someone thinks that Rahab need not obey Exodus 20 something something, because she wasn't a Jew.

I think I might want to go back to my own dimension.

This is fun!

It is written Jesus says, "get away from me".

Why does he say that?

Depart is a verb and away is a place. What will he tell them?

Matthew 7:22"Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?' 23"And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.'

Matthew 7:22-23

savagewind,
Jesus told the one claiming to be his disciples to get away from him, because in the things they did they were not telling the truth.
Consider how important truth is to God, John 4:23,24, 17:17, 2Thessalonians 2:9-13, 1Timothy 6:20,21.
Speaking truth is vital, 2Peter 3:15-18

What else did God tell me?

God told me what to testify means.

It means to be telling along with the knowledge that saying so (or thinking so) will affect what comes after.

I know why he would have told them to get away if he might have actually said it.

It is believed that Jesus says, "depart from me" at The Judgement.

Is there someone to go after The Judgement?

Jesus wants to know.

Incorrect, lying is always bad, except for the wt org! They, and apparently you, believe the story of Rahab lying gives us license to lie, it doesn't.

Rahab was faced with 'TWO' sins, turning the two servants of God over to the king to be killed, and lying, she had no other choice. Whichever she chose would have been a sin, so she chose the one that supported Gods plan and brought God the greater glory!

1 Kings 22:22
So? Your God approves of bad. Mine doesn't.
Whichever she chose would have been a sin, so she chose the one that supported Gods plan and brought God the greater glory!
I wonder if you ever listen to yourself?
Lying is always bad and when the lady lied she was "supporting God's plan and brought God greater glory," which is what? Bad?

My Refrigerator. I don't know how what I am looking for many times is in the last spot.
Some people will say, "of course it is in the last spot". Haha
What I mean is I search the WHOLE refrigerator and the thing is in the last place. The last place of the whole thing.

I have thought of a solution, but I don't know how to do it.

My solution is to look in the last place first.

I think that lying is not always bad. The lying that I am talking about is the kind that you tell yourself or others that leads to bad.
