I have another question for YOU to ignore

To "bear false witness" IS to give false testimony.
Why do you fight that it shouldn't say that we are admonished to not believe wrongly about people?

Would it be a much better world if God has told us not to believe anything about anyone that is not true?

Some people bear a bad opinion of people of another race. There is no command against that, according to you and every Jew.

The German people with their priests and ministers trusted Hitler to do good for them.
They BORE witness that he was good for them.

Is this correct?

I do not fight that. Certainly you should not say wrongly about other people. If that is true, you should not believe wrongly about people either.

We should indeed be careful what we believe. We probably shouldn't believe everything everyone tells us at all. If we can verify it, then believe it.

Why do you think I do not believe the theory of evolution? It's not because it can't be true. It's because I have not seen the evidence.

There is evidence of evolution. I have been accused of going off topic, and I do, but WOW, you win the prize, I think, if there is a prize for going off..............

If humankind would please know that God has commanded that You not be a witness for stuff you have wrong.

Do not propagate lies. They can be good lies. If it was only bad lies that you are commanded not to bear, you would need to judge good and bad. Can you do that? I can't.

Yes, The word of God makes a lot of things very clear as to what is good and what is not good. Without the word of God, I believe the world would be so full of subjectivity, no one could decipher anything with regard to objective morality.

I am suggesting that I have not seen the evidence for evolution, not that the evidence does not exist. Should I believe something just because someone says it is true? We just concluded that I should not. Do I have to go out and research everything people say, or can I just acknowledge that I do not know the answer? With regard to evolution, and its veracity and truthfulness, I really don't care. It would not affect my life one way or the other if I were to know for certain. So why waste my time on it?

If the commandment says what I think it says people who care to obey it would get to know about a person before drawing a conclusion (whether good or bad).

And, humankind would then evolve the ability to do so. Wouldn't it?

Oh ya, evolution is false. But it isn't.

I am with you about not wasting my time on it.

To me, evolution is just God letting change happen. We can go for good changes or for bad changes. I choose good. People who are for the changed Bible are going for bad changes. I am sure.

People know that it is immoral to bear false witness about others. Yet they do it anyway. That is what we do. We do what we want despite the morality of it. Sometimes when people know the rules, they do try to follow the rules. But not everyone will do that. So no, humanity won't change one bit if the verse said what you thought it said.

Evolution is either true or false. I say that because I don't know the answer. Even if I believed it was true, that wouldn't make it true. And even if I believed it false, that wouldn't make it false. I have asked for evidence for evolution, and no one has ever shown me evolution. So I don't believe in it. That does not mean that I believe that no evolution takes place. I am agnostic with regard to the issue, with a slight bias toward it being true, fully understanding that it may not be true.

No, you are not. LOL

You are arguing for the changes to stay. You are saying that I should take the Bible as it is with what I believe are serious changes that were done before us. There is no PROOF. Maybe Indiana Jones will find the original manuscripts. What do you thinK?
