Matthew 28:18-20 18 Jesus approached and spoke to them, saying: “All authority has been given me in heaven and on the earth.+ 19 I am going (to the Father) but you to all the nations being my disciples (still). [People will be drawn to you] so baptize them+ in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you.+ And look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.”*+

Are you going to be funny and ignore me? @NWL and what does it stand for? New World Loaner? Is the governing body going to bring their bank with them?

Another question. Who will answer our Bible questions when the governing body gets married in Heaven?

Also, how can anyone be of the 144,000 BEFORE they ever get to heaven?

I say to make has been added to Matthew 28:19 and they say, "so what?" Why is it OK with you to make disciple, a verb into disciple, a noun?

I'm not entirely sure I understand your question here, are you asking why the NWT has inserted the word "make" into Matt 28:19? If so it was added in for clarity sake as that is the understood meaning of what was being said, Jesus wanted his followers to deiciple, or in other words, make disciples of/in all the nations. Most other bible translate it exactly the same way.

Matthew 28:19a:
ASV: Go ye therefore, and make disciples of all the nations
NIV: Therefore go and make disciples of all nations
NLT: Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations
ESV: Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations
ERV: Go ye therefore, and make disciples of all the nations

Also, if Jesus is with us how is he coming and why do we need the governing body when we have Jesus himself?

We do have Jesus himself, he acts through the Governing body. Jesus presence now and his coming are referring to two separate things. He will be "coming" when he executes Gods judgement on the earth, this doesn't negate the fact that he can already be here in reference to something else.

Hahahaha You make the same mistake they ALL do. OK. Who is Babylon the Great? The Empire of FALSE religion. Do you see that you use FALSE religion to prove the true religion?

That Jesus only goes through the governing body contradicts this. Matthew 18:20 Why is that ok to do?

FYI please let me know if this reaches brain matter. There is a difference between being and making. Yes or no?

I can make a cake. Can I be a cake?

True or false? The Jehovah's Witnesses proclaim they are the real congregation of Jehovah who all love each other and dwell together in wholehearted agreement (peace) and who are the ones who God has promised to keep safe for paradise Earth forever (security). You are saying, "peace and security".

How does it contradict Matt 28:20?

The greek word mathéteuó in matthew 28:19 is not to be understood as disciple, you clearly do no study, if you did then you wouldn't be trying to make the foolish point you're making.

Original Word: μαθητεύω
Part of Speech: Verb
Transliteration: mathéteuó
Phonetic Spelling: (math-ayt-yoo'-o)
Short Definition: I make disciples, make into disciples
Definition: I make a disciple of, train in discipleship; pass: I am trained, discipled, instructed.

Therefore, if Matt 28:19 is saying "disciple all the nations" then the speaker was obviously expressing to make disciples, hence the reason why most Bibles in circulation today say "make disciples".

So you are saying there is no difference between to be and to make. OK I think we are done. Thank you for talking to me.

Hahaha, all this tells me is that you can't even defend your own points. Your claim was so lacking it was laughable. You obviously don't like the WT soceity, I wonder how many letters have you written to modern churches who uses the translations of Matt 28:19 that have "go make" in? I'll have a guess and say none. Why is it you only hate the NWT version of Matt 28:19 and no other? Laughable!

Ps...I made no such claim, I showed you the greek and you ran away like dog with its tail in-between it's legs.

Keep being my disciples wherever you go. In fact, to ALL nations you will go.

You don't STUDY @NWL that they scattered away from him at his trial. REMEMBER now? He was calling them back.

BE* MY DISCIPLES. I WILL BE WITH YOU ALWAYS.

*Not make me disciples. Why does Jesus tell you to make more like you? Where else in the Bible is there a command to make people love obey and follow God?

So many questions your way! No questions if it means BE my disciple.

1. Who should we make into a disciple? Anyone?
2. When will I know I am ready to make a disciple? As soon as I become one?
3. How will we know real ones from fake ones?
4. When should we baptize one?
5. What if I baptize the wrong person?
6. What if I make a wolf a sheep? Won't that put the children at risk?

I showed you the Greek my friend, the definition was shown. I'll post it again as you obviously haven't learnt your lesson.

Original Word: μαθητεύω
Part of Speech: Verb
Transliteration: mathéteuó
Phonetic Spelling: (math-ayt-yoo'-o)
Short Definition: I make disciples, make into disciples
Definition: I make a disciple of, train in discipleship; pass: I am trained, discipled, instructed.

NAS Exhaustive Concordance: Defintion disciple, instruct, teach.
From mathetes; intransitively, to become a pupil; transitively, to disciple, i.e. Enrol as scholar -- be disciple, instruct, teach.

The word carries the meaning of being (as in become) or making disciples. If Jesus was simply referring to the diciples then he would have used the word "mathétés", which simply means "disciple" instead of "mathéteuó" which means "make into disciples". You can argue all day you can't change the definition of words buddy.

(2 Timothy 4:5) "..You, though, keep your senses in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.."

(Romans 10:9, 10,14-15) "...For if you publicly declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and exercise faith in your heart that God raised him up from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one exercises faith for righteousness, but with the mouth one makes public declaration for salvation... However, how will they call on him if they have not put faith in him? How, in turn, will they put faith in him about whom they have not heard? How, in turn, will they hear without someone to preach? 15 How, in turn, will they preach unless they have been sent out? Just as it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who declare good news of good things!”..."

Jesus left a perfect model to follow. Tell me. Did he make his disciples? He FOUND them. Correct?

Are you going to say now that there is no difference between being, making and finding?

OK. Good point. But I think you may have forgotten again that the Bible has been handled by BABYLON THE GREAT who was free to make it look like it was their job to MAKE people obey them.

This does not prove your point. I never say a disciple should not preach and teach. God makes people into a disciple AFTER a person hears the Good News.

What happened with not talking with me anymore, did I strike a nerve?

I'm not here to answer 101 questions buddy, you have too much of a fascination with witnesses, its freaky. If you want to ask me questions about our interpretation of texts fine, if you want to ask me questions which are foolish then don't bother.

Jesus left a perfect model to follow. Tell me. Did he make his disciples? He FOUND them. Correct?

Correct, made them, found them. Your point?

Be transformed by making your mind over. You believe this @NWL?

Or according to your interpretation it should read thus: Be transformed by letting your mind be make over.

The point was not mine to prove, as I made no point. I think you've forgotten, you asked me to provide a scripture that talks about being sent out to preach other than Matt 28:19, both of these texts demonstrate this making you claim moosh.

yes

I'm not here to answer 101 questions buddy,
I'm a girl, as though it matters.
you have too much of a fascination with witnesses, its freaky.
Freaking is better than stupid imo
If you want to ask me questions about our interpretation of texts fine,
OK. Is it possible it is your kind that proclaims. "peace and security"?

if you want to ask me questions which are foolish then don't bother.
Do you mean that they are foolish because you can't answer them?

Correct, made them, found them. Your point?
I wish you were kidding. I fear you are not kidding. There is a HUGE difference between being, making and finding.
