(John 17:3) They volunteer their time and finances to do this because they love their neighbor and God. As I mentioned previously, if you're not interested, just tell them so. It is not the intent of Jws to bother people, and they do not insist you listen to them. Millions of people have been visited by Jws and can attest to this.

To be honest I don't believe you, its a recruitment drive, can I ask why they now sometimes call themselves the watchtower, and only admit to being he after further prompting, that is so people will not leave immediately as they know their reputation is so bad.

In our region it was an old man with a very handsome young man, and sometimes an old woman with a beautiful young woman, coincidence or a draw card.

The old woman told me come to our centre and July here can show you around, pretty obvious that they would not do anything, but the tone was obvious,they were using attractive youth to lure people in,cannot deny it as I saw it,disgusting tactics.

Jw's are simply doing what Jesus Christ and the early Christians did, sharing a message of comfort and hope with their neighbors. I believe Jws are accomplishing the work described in Matthew 24:14; "And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come." It certainly has reached you "for a witness." It is your right to reject the message, and Jws recognize that. But they are the only Christians I know of who care enough about their neighbors to visit them to help them understand the Bible, and millions of people welcome these visits. If you do not, simply tell them you are not interested.

I actually believed and preached that until I came to a realisation that spiritual promotion hardly equates to a real fire.

I dont believe using fear tactics is very fruitful.Its not preaching sin that brings about positive changes but its the love you walk in.Sometimes helping a lady across the street can say way more about Jesus than some religious man with some kind of high title preaching an hour message on sin and doom and gloom.Its better just to be with people right where they are and accept them for who they are than to tell them how worthless they are and how much they need to change.The gospel is the good news of how valuable God thinks man is and loves them so much he would rather die than live without them and not bad news about how worthless people are and need to change their ways or else .When people believe they are loved the behaviour will line up to the belief.Just my perspective.

Jehovas wittness ringing my apartment security phone again, this is a security building, my home, he is a stranger.
Besides that its quite rude, they accost you at the train station and mall to, enough is enough.

I believe they have a list of 'go again;, 'never go again' etc. My small foyer has a nice picture of Ganesha in it. They have not come to my house in years, and I believe that is why. I got on the 'never return to' list. Show them a picture of Buddha, or ask rudely, "Please take me off your list!" You can also put a 'no soliciting' sign up.

I believe door to door proseltysing should be illegal, but it's not, so we try to cope with it the best way we can while staying within the law. By talking to them just once you let them get the foot in the door.

A couple weeks ago I met a couple of Mormon missionary girls on their morning jog, nd me on my morning japa walk. They approached me, and we had a friendly discussion. I refused their literature. Since then I've seen them twice, and we wave or smile, but never reengage.

You should of asked what else July would do for you lol. I might have taken up ole' July on her offer lol. At the least it probably would have offended them so much they would have taken you off the list, and at the most you get a happy ending lol.
