I like Nikki Thread

They doubled my hours, but I will try to defend my post.

She wants a strong America.
I like Nicki Haley but she will not be ready for the Democrat Party smear machine, if she was to become the nominee. The Democrats cannot run a positive campaign on the three major issue important to voters, since the Democrats messed these up for most people, except the rich. The Stock Market is fine, but groceries are still expensive. So all the Democrats will be to focus on mud slinging with most of fake news on their side. They will not presents Haley's good ideas, less they lose any voters. Trump can force coverage with his entertaining antics.

It will be dirty campaign and unfortunately Trump is the only person who has experience with all-out Democrat mud slinging. I thought Haley would have been good VP choice, but I think Trump, will choose a female who was more loyal. Trump gave Haley a chance to drop out, but she wants to stay in the game.

The women on both sides of the political isle have done really good job at carrying torches for their sides. They can be trusted and Trump will pick one of his own very competent loyal followers for VP. She will also need to hardened, and can take it to them and must be able to kill Harris in a debate. The Republicans have some strong Iron Maidens.

Oh, so Trump can't be smeared by Democrats?

I'm actually arguing against your certainty.
No, actually you aren't. I wrote
The people in Hell, Michigan should vote for Snowball. Because Haley's chances are worst than a Snowball's in Hell.
Which contains no certainty in it, just an opinion. So you didn't argue against my certainty. But you did state certainties when you replied to my post saying,
The conventional wisdom that no Pub has ever won
nomination without IA & NH suffers from the problem
of applying only in conventional circumstances.
This time, it's different from all prior elections.
Potential game changers....
1) He could be convicted of felonies.
2) At his age, mental & physical health are fragile.
3) His increasingly aberrant behavior could erode his base.

A snowball's chance in Hell is zero probability.
That is a metaphor of certainty.
When I posted "potential game changes", you
should note the meaning of "potential"...
"Capable of being but not yet in existence; latent or undeveloped."

My god man....get yourself a dictionary.
You'll thank me.

So if you truly think Nikki Haley has a chance, then why did you assume Trump will be the Republican candidate in your thread about deciding to vote Libertarian?

March 5th is my date. Tx.

When Trump is finally behind bars, someone needs to be left standing regardless of primary results.
And though I may be done with the Republican party forever, I do agree with you that Nikki is a huge improvement over Trump. She also has a much better chance to win than Trump. Hmm, so maybe I should be supporting Trump after all? No, there is a small risk that he could win. Better to support a decent person than a raging lunatic.

Trump is very likely to get the nod.
But it is far from certain.

Haley was at one time a Trump supporter but departed therefrom. She has recently criticized Fox'n Friends to their faces (questioning their integrity) and has criticized Maga obsessions with Taylor Swift. She's still campaigning but has got a good chance to become president. The republicans are hard put right now, so they should not discourage her. There is no telling if Pres. Trump will be able to make the cut. He's trying though, and he's obviously got several states pushing for him to lead the Republican Party. If Haley quits now she is forgotten forever, and she probably knows it. If she fights to the end she obtains fame and can't lose either way. She's better off pursuing the ticket.
