Holla!
There are a few of us here. Keep in mind, though, that this is a "religious forum" and not just a "Christian forum." If you want to debate only with Christians, you have to post on the "Same faith debates" subforum and specify that you only want replies from other Christians.

Actually, this is Religious Education Forums.

It's a place to learn/discuss/debate religion(s)

People aren't required to actually be religious here, any more than people going into a car forum are required to be automobiles.

It would seem they are not as anti-religious as they would have us believe.

You would think they would leave us to our own delusions...

Yeah, that was my thought. I just joined yesterday and have been just looking around and reading forums and seeing whats going one. And I just notice that I see more mocking on their part then them actually trying to provide evidence that they are correct. Really odd, that if you hate something so much why do you spend most of your time on a forum like this. Wouldn't you rather just spend your time enjoying your non-religious life?

I see a lot of people seeing what they want to see.

Religion is a topic of interest for many non-believers. Just because we don't aspire to believe in God/s does not mean we would rather be completely ignorant about religion.

You seem to see what you want to see. The mocking goes both ways.

I'm here to interact with all faiths. It's the ones splitting hairs about the existance of God and quoting four different European philosophical arguments as proof they're kind of smart, and we're not that I get tired of reading.

I doubt we will grow much by discounting someone else's beliefs as a way to forward our own.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!

go back a few pages and you'll probably be able to find ten or fifteen threads on this exact same topic.

but most of us have been through it already, and are exhausted with repeating the same reasoning so many times.

welcome to RF, both of you.

Why is it that the OP seems to me to associate anti-religious to non-Christian?

Or non-Christians as being, by default, anti-religious? It seems to me from other blogs and fora I've watched or participated in that many religious people consider anyone who shares different views, including different religious views, to be hostile to their own beliefs.

There was one regular on The Search who actually posted comments more than once that he found the mere mention of other religions to be insulting. He also dismissed many of those who described themselves as Christians as not being "real Christians", because they were not zealous, born-again fundamentalists.

I think the best way to treat such people is to simply ignore them, what the Sermon on the Mount described as turning the other cheek. It's also sometimes easier said than done.
