i surprised how many anti religous people are in this forums

Most of the atheists are not anti-theist or anti-religion.

I am. I'm anti-theist. Anti-religion. And I'm anti-non-theist, too. I'm anti-everything except my mother. But I'm only not anti-my-mother on Mother's Day. The rest of the year, I'm anti-Mom, too. In fact, the only reason I'm on RF is because I'm protesting non-religious forums by frequenting this religious forum. Ordinarily, I would be anti-forums altogether. All you have to do is show me something, and I'm against it. It's the way I bring light and cheer to the world.

Not true. We could always be against atheism. Try thinking of self-loathing as the new frontier in the self-help and personal development section of your local bookstore.

Very big on Christian values myself, though I'm not what you'd consider orthodox. Does that qualify me as a fellow Christian?

It would seem they are not as anti-religious as they would have us believe.

You would think they would leave us to our own delusions...

Why would you think that? It's the "religious education" forum after all, and there are sections specifically welcoming atheists and agnostics. So perhaps you could see it all as intending to educate the religious, when those who are of a different mind set are welcomed.

And we the religious enjoy ignoring their statements while extolling the benefits in believing in a flat earth set in a geocentric universe, an earth where the very concept of evolution is laughable. It's a wonderful dynamic we have here, there's a lot of back and forth of listening, pretending to listen, not listening, and pretending not to listen.
