I think we should be allowed to put staff on ignore.

Petulance? That's your forte.
And the first thing out of your mouth is ...

... petulant ad hominem.

It would be the same reasoning as why you'd put anyone else on ignore.
The difference being that we are obliged to conform to mod guidance.

One could argue for additional programming that would allow for a ...

<no-ignore> text </no-ignore>

... option limited to mods and administration. That would allow for ignoring any text that was not intended as Mod input. I would have no particular problem with that.

Just a suggestion.
Maybe a good suggestion, since mods are people too and some have opinions we may or may not disagree with, RF citizens can place them on ignore And they can still contact you by pm if they have administrative business or in the mod forums.

Other than that, I dont see mod post any different than any other RF citizen. I hate the ignore button. It takes the fun out of discussing, debating, and comparing religion etc with people from all walks of life, personalities, and beliefs.

I didn't know we couldn't. I guess I have never tried.

But what I would want is the ability to put myself on other peoples ignore lists. There are certain people here that I don't think are worthy of reading my pearls of wit.

I would support having a feature like they do on Facebook. You block the person and then it's as if you don't exist to each other whether the other person wants it or not. :)
