The result of that is likely to be civil war .. but the Democrats couldn't necessarily stop that, in any case
The financial system is wrong, despite your support of it. That is why we see what we see right now.
Civil war is extremely unlikely.
It is in no one's interest.
If it does occur it will be damaging not only the USA internally, but even more so internationally.
Not only would it lose its world leadership role, but also destroy the dollar.
This would cause major world trade disruption.
The USA would be unlikely to ever recover it's previous status. And might even result in two or more sovereign countries. Unless one side had an overwhelming victory.

ive an old uncle late of the red guard.

Both sides in USA sound like him.
So we don’t get him going.

You guys will be ok,there’s a
billion of us to pick up the pieces.
I am an old (89) Brit, so I won't be around that much longer myself.
But I love stirring up extremist like my daughter's sister in law's husband, who is a more than extreme right wing retired bank manager. He is so easy to play like a fish. As does my son in law who is a socialist leaning retired doctor.

However whatever happens in the USA, effects what happens in the UK and Europe.

My own view is that China is likely to find itself leading the world what ever happens in the USA
BUT I also think it is a role that China does not want, and will be looking towards a more cooperative world structure. Unlike America, it has no interest in becoming the worlds policeman.

OMG, there's someone here older than me (83)! We old farts need to stick together (not literally).

I've also had the thought that I might not live to see the worst of what's to come. But then I think, I'm really healthy for my age. I could live to be 100!

I can't believe that I'm seeing death as an escape. Thank you Donald! :(

Death is the opening of a door. To what, no one knows. It’s unlikely to lead anywhere more confusing than the place we are leaving though, imo. Planet earth is staggeringly beautiful, but I’m not sure I’ll miss it much.

Really? Why were you in jail?

Maybe you'd like to join the old farts club? I have two members so far.

For me it's a hole in the ground (actually I want cremation) followed by decomposition.

Remember the old joke? They dug up Beethoven's grave to find him erasing the notes from sheets of music. He was decomposing!
