Anybody who doesn't have to pander to the Republican core, maybe. When you have to threaten to go to war to stay in the middle of the pack, most of moderate Americans will dump you.

We are at war with radical Islamists who hate the US and the west and want to kill us simply because of who we are and the liberty we cherish. Congress should make an official declaration of war against ISIS.

The difference between Hillary and Donald is that she's a tool of the 1% with some decent ideas and he's a member of the 1% with America-destroying policies. He would destroy America at home and abroad as would most of the Republican candidates. He hates woman, blacks, minorities, Muslims and any one who does not bow down to his exalted self-importance. Against any Republican, I vote for her because she won't make things actively worse the way they will. I'd prefer another Democrat and would vote for Sanders or even better Elizabeth Warren if by some miracle she was drafted.

They both have distinct differences between them, what about them can't you stand?

Well that is easy. They both, Clinton and Sanders, are extremely similar; they both represent socialist ideas that go against the very foundation of the US and its reason for existence. They both want more government control, more regulation, higher taxes, as well as, both are enemies of the Second Amendment and the NRA which automatically makes them my enemy.

Pretty sure that there are some tax attornies that even he knows personally that understand the tax code better than he does.
I've read/seen tax lawyers and economists explain that the tax code is complicated and each year brings a new set of rules. And without looking, I'm going to assume that he himself hires a tax lawyer to do his taxes for him.
There is no way that Hillary comes close to being as dishonest and corrupt as Trump. The guy lies constantly.
My favorite is when he says he's done nothing to apologize for, and when he claimed that everyone in his level of business files for bankruptcy as a "strategic move." And what I don't understand, he has filed for bankruptcy four times - despite owning casinos, a business where people willingly and gladly give you a ton of money and even when you give away a jackpot it's only a scratch compared to what's coming in - and people think his business experience makes him qualified, even though the government is not a business. It's not designed to make a profit, it's not intended to cut deals to advance itself, but people insist that that is the way it should be operated.

Example?

For who? In what way?

For who? In what context?

Ah, the ol' "coming for all of our guns" argument. This one never gets old. (Even after ~7 years of it with no evidence of such a thing occurring.)

I am not going to spoon feed you, do your own damn research. :smilecat: However, when asked, "who is the political enemy you are most proud of making?" Hillary Clinton did say "the NRA".

Then I will simply assume you don't know what you are talking about. When you make a claim, it is up to you to support it. It is commonly known as the "burden of proof". Not surprising, you provide nothing.

I do know what I am talking about. I simply am not interested in going round and round with someone over politics. I feel no burden of trying to prove anything to anybody. So you assume whatever you want, frankly, I don't give a damn. ;)

You are not alone. Many others also celebrate in their ignorance and mindless slander of political candidates they don't like. It is part of the political game.

I really agree with that. It's time for Congress to stop hiding under their desks and put their votes where their mouths are.

"Ignorance" and "mindless" slander? This is why I dislike getting into political debates. Yes politics is an interest of mine, but as my mind is made up, I will not vote democrat, and when the other parties mind is made up, they will not vote republican - what is the use in arguing? When it will only result in name calling, and endless round and round of trying to prove each other wrong, resulting in only bitterness toward one another. I will not play that "political game" anymore.

I'd be happy to make enemies with them as well. It's hard to discuss reasonable gun control and how guns can be safely used and contained in society with those yelling and screaming you have to have a gun to be free, you have to have one so the government can't take over, you have to have one to stop a bad guy, and that they government is always trying to take them away. They're such idiots that when the government moved to crack down on illegal ivory trade (something that is a major cash crop for groups like ISIS), the NRA started screaming it would criminalize those who own antique guns, even though the bill didn't override "grandfather clauses." And then there is the little kids programs that involved a little girl (seven, I think) shooting a fully automatic gun, loosing control (who really can't see a small child loosing control of such a weapon?), and shooting and killing the instructor. They also let Ted Nugent, someone who is very racist and also apparently doesn't bother or care about learning local hunting laws (given by his incidents of being caught violating them) as any responsible hunter and gun owner would, speak for them. And they don't give a damn about preventing gun violence, but only being able to stop it once it has begun.

I would never say you have to be a gun owner to be free or prevent a government takeover or to stop a bad guy. I just want to be free to own a gun or guns, it is my right as a US citizen and should never be infringed upon. You will never be my enemy Shadow Wolf, never! Like it or not, I will always be your friend. :smilecat:

I am convinced, solidly mind you, that the character that we see claiming a run for presidency under the name of Trump is no less fictional than Bill O'Riely's character on television. While it is true to that to varied degrees all political candidates are portraying and acting as a character Trump seems to be second to none in terms of display. I am half expecting him to unveil this as a joke.

I agree with this. Trump has spent many years in front of a camera playing a character of himself, and got good at it. Now, what we are all seeing is him continuing to do just that with the presidential race, play a character of himself in front of cameras. The sad part is, is that there are a lot of people out there that are falling for his act.

What's a hijab?!?!

I mean, what's a rally? Shouldn't that have stupid looking cars running after each other off road and roll over people?

What I find kind of comical is the herd focus on Donald Trump because he's so "outrageous," but if people listened to any of the other Republican candidates for even a second, they'd realize that they're basically all Donald Trump. Each one is just as crazy as the last.

That's kind of the point of Trump though. He's a distraction. He's not going to win, and that's not his intention. But while you're focused on him, you're not noticing that Jeb Bush is just as insane...but Jeb Bush will win for this reason.
