Yes, I know that. And the people are not white (not personal opinion, it's a simple fact). Skin colour seems relevant to you in this "topic" and if it is you will get pulled up for getting basic facts wrong.OH God! To the Eastern countries Korea, Japan, China
Hindus get a lot of flak - mocked as Idolators - but a simple thought experiment proves that we are ALL Idolators
Imagine God deciding to come down to earth to visit us
For Christians He must come down as a tall, young, handsome blond male and answer to the name Jesus. A bit of magic, miracle and we will sing his praises
But what if He comes down as a Woman or a black man? Will Christians refuse to acknowledge God?
And what if He comes down as a Brown man and says His name is Rama? Christians might try to kill him!
BTW in the above instance only Hindus would not have a problem - God can take any form - it does not matter - God Rama is Jesus is Allah is the Buddha is Yahweh is Durga......and so on. Sadly, only a Hindu would be comfortable with the above sentence
And for Muslims God, since he is formless, might come as a Bright light and speak with a booming voice, male, of course
it shows that Idolatry can take many forms and that we are ALL Idolators
Oh Good - I judged people as white based on skin color and I see lots of white skin in Korea, China, JapanYes, I know that. And the people are not white (not personal opinion, it's a simple fact). I CBA.Oh Good - I judged people as white based on skin color and I see lots of white skin in Korea, China, Japan
So please tell me how you judge a person as White - would be interesting to know
Does eye shape enter into this?
Please enlighten me - I judged Koreans, Chinese and Japanese as white based on their skin color and ample discrimination in these countriesEast Asians are not 'white'.
What? I am not familiar with this CBA - can you please explain in plain english?I CBA.
I think 'white' is a meaningless term, usually used by Americans. It refers to European people. Please enlighten me - I judged Koreans, Chinese and Japanese as white based on their skin color and ample discrimination in these countries
But you seem to think otherwise - enlighten me as to what is "white"
I assume it is not skin color then, does the eye shape into it?
There is racism in every country based on skin color. It's not about your personal opinion - who you view as white or not
It is what the general perception is - blacks, brown asians are discriminated in these countries - there is racism in these countries based on skin color
I have heard of Japanese being considered "yellow" based on a slightly different tan skin colorI think 'white' is a meaningless term, usually used by Americans. It refers to European people.
Historically East Asians were 'yellow', but this is not 'correct' language now. They're not 'white'.
The hell?I have heard of Japanese being considered "yellow" based on a slightly different tan skin color
But not Chinese or Koreans
I assume you think they are all the same based on their eyes?
Obviously these rules were made by westerners - do they still call the shots?
And we have to adhere to these rules? We can't say based on skin color Chinese are white?
Whatever they decide is the rule?
Who decided it is not "correct" language? Was it East Asians?
Are we still living in a world where whites get to make all the rules?
That's racism, buddy
But those are Asian countriesOH God! To the Eastern countries Korea, Japan, China
