Intercessory prayer is not, or atleast shouldn't be, that God refrains from doing as He wills for the sake of our own goals and purposes.
You were the one who suggested that this is what intercessory prayer was in the first place.

Regardless: why would domeone who believes that God is outside of time have a different approach to the past than to the future when asking for God to intercede?
