If I were not a _________, I'd probably be a _________.

Katzpur

Not your average Mormon
If I were not a Mormon, I'd probably be a Baha'i. Why? Well, I don't think I'd be very comfortable in any other Christian faith. Most of them would require that I become a trinitarian, which I could never do. There are a number of reasons why I don't get warm and fuzzy feelings from traditional Christianity. The Baha'i Faith is one of such inclusion. I love the tolerance they show towards all of the world's religions. (I could probably even keep a few of my LDS beliefs if I just didn't broadcast them.) I have also enjoyed the few verses from the Baha'i scriptures that have been posted on RF. They're really beautiful.

If you weren't a _________, what would you be?

If I weren't a DWBHist, I would probably be in a padded cell.

Oh, this is a good one.

Okay, so I'm assuming that for the sake of argument, it's about picking another religion, and not defaulting to "My life would have no meaning".

If I were not a UU, I would probably belong to the Vedanta society. They have a wonderful and peaceful outlook on the world.

If I were not a Mormon I would be UU. And maybe even if I were. I really like the sound of belonging to a society like that. One that promoted tolerance and enlightenment.

If I were not Mormon or UU I would be non-denominational Christian. (Does that count?) I find that free thinking Christians have so much truth. They seek truth wherever it can be found. Some of the wisest people I have come across don't seem to hold with any particular sect. Rather they wander from here to there in search of enlightenment.

Okay, everybody... you're supposed to say WHY.
I did say why.....Because the Jewish religion would still give me my basic belief in God....the God of Abraham, Issac and etc.......I couldn't say LDS because they are part of the Christian religion whether people like it or not.....;)

I would be agnostic because I know science doesn't explain it all and neither does religion. Yet i would still feel that there was a greater power out there.

If i did not confess i was agnostic, i'd probably be a liar. [edit: because in truth, we are all agnostic]
