No need to shout, just stated it once....A slide response if there ever was one. Your statement is: "God wants obedience to THE law." Now again; WHICH LAW!?
According to the parable of building your house upon the rock, you will be judged by the words and teachings of Yeshua.
The commandments and the law of Moses (Torah), are often that which is being quoted in the Bible as law (Torah). There are also clear statements that you are to follow the laws of the land you are within, as long as they glorify God, and don't cause you to break the original laws.
Now I'd also state, that you should follow any laws that make you live more righteously; though in the context of Judaism you don't necessarily need to apply this, yet i would, as obedience to God, means we will be judged by all we are aware of.
