So you don't know.He has written it in creation and on human hearts.
Nothing, so having said that, what precautions should we take prior to formulating a belief? What does belief have to do with reality?
If God was known to exist, as we know the sun exists, there would be little to disbelieve. If God does exist, then human disbelief would not change that reality.
That has never been demonstrated to be true, however God belief is known to have evolved, that much can be attested to by ancient written material and artifacts. How it that even a question? God existed long before humans did.
Well then, you will just have to believe harder.Of course, because belief is not what makes God exist.
Not nearly as many as have believed in God.
That's a good point and something that we can see in the evolution of religious thought.God belief is known to have evolved,
You're just going to have to disbelieve with all your might, what else is left for a nonbeliever to do?The bandwagon fallacy, ad populum, no matter the number of believers, belief does not make it so. You're just going to have to believe with all your might, what else is left for a believer to do?.
But God did not evolve because God has always existed.God belief is known to have evolved
Yes, it's called word of mouth, it's why preachers preach, and believers believe, and money exchanges hands.Beside the point. There's something in humans that moves them to believe in a higher power. It's almost universal.
Did you work hard on that belief or did it just come natural? But God did not evolve because God has always existed.
You're just going to have to disbelieve with all your might, what else is left for a nonbeliever to do?
Maybe then you can make God not exist and then we can all take our toys and go home.
Learning what exactly, to believe what you are told to believe?Only later through learning does the belief in God come.
To be honest, I did not work very hard, it came natural. It was obvious to me that my religion was true within two weeks of discovering it, and here I still am over 51 years later.....Did you work hard on that belief or did it just come natural?
It makes a difference to everything that matters if God exists or not. Why, what difference does it make to anything that matters if your God exists or not?
Nobody ever told me what to believe. I chose my religion as an adult and researched it by myself.Learning what exactly, to believe what you are told to believe?
Religious leaders have told you what to believe.Nobody ever told me what to believe. I chose my religion as an adult and researched it by myself.
My parents were not even religious so I had no religion growing up nor did I believe in God.
It makes a difference to nothing at all, it's merely a belief of yours that it makes a difference to anything that matters. Why do you keep trying to convince yourself? It makes a difference to everything that matters if God exists or not.
If No One Believed In God...
Would God exist?
The difference is that evidence led us to the discovery of Saturn which in turn allowed us to formulate a belief that was drawn from conclusions grounded in evidence. The same cannot be said for a belief in God, believers believe in God on faith alone, no evidence, no discovery, merely belief. Its like saying if no believed other planets existed "would other planets exist"?
That would mean prior to discovering Saturn existed, Saturn didnt exist. It appeared the day humans discovered it.
Its magic.
