What a ridiculous notion, there are thousands of songs about God that are hits.
Lol @ the sell ones soul to God.

Since no one posted it, I will.
This song is very fresh, different, and kicks so much butt that even satan runs when he hears it.
Don't get me wrong, I love classic rock and nothing tops Angus or Page or Walters on guitar.
But sometimes the words are enough to make chills and goosebumps flow deep

Carrie isnt someone I like to listen to, but damn, can she write lyrics.

edit: on YT I put in Jesu and the song came up first :p

Who says God can't? Never heard of Creed?! You're missing out

I just threw up in my mouth a little. They over played the same two songs over and over and over again on the radio back in the late 90's/early 2000's.

There was also Jars of Clay and DC Talk that had some mainstream air time for a while.

Musical taste is subjective and often what tends to be popular is what appeals to the lowest common denominator. To me "Devil Music" is that which is wholly derivative, uninspiring, and whose entertainment value is intentionally commercial. It is the musical equivalent of a bold-faced lie. All other music, that which inspires, heartens, and genuinely entertains, is the music of the gods.

I don't believe some superhuman archon, such as "Satan", is responsible for any of mankind's musical creations. To give a deity like that credit is flippin' pathetic.

I used to play guitar, and did a bit of drumming. I've composed some music of my own that would be considered "Satanic" as it was categorized as death metal and used themes from the book of Revelation as part of the lyricism & song titling.

Please don't give some stupid deity, i.e. "Satan", credit for all the hard work & talent I put into being a guitarist and composer.

Which songs? I'm assuming one would be the popular "With Arms Wide Open"

However, my two favorite Creed songs are "What If" and "My Own Prison"
