It is called Church in the Woods and I go there every Saturday morning for a GriefShare group meeting.
Of course you don't provide enough information for me to actually look into this group for myself.

Looks like there a dozen or more organizations that call themselves "the Church in the Woods" that aren't affiliated with each other.

Nicer people you would never meet. These are true Christians.
That's beside the point.

For instance, I've never met an unkind or unfriendly Quaker, but the Quakers are responsible for some awful things... such as popularizing solitary confinement in prisons, for example.

You asked me if I could think of a church that doesn't bear bad fruit, and to feel free to name it.
That is what I did.

How would you be able to look into this little church even if you knew which one it was?
I can only speak for my own experience with the pastor of this church and his wife and the GriefShare group they sponsor.

But since I'm not generally inclined to take your word for anything, it's useless for actually changing my mind.

Most church websites will have information on the denomination or faith tradition they belong to. That would let me know if they're part of a church denomination that was, say, implicayed in Canada's residential school scandal or was part of a conspiracy to shield child predators.

And you think that your experience over a short time with two people affiliated with this church gives you a complete picture of everything the church has ever done?

I was not trying to change your mind.

I looked but I could not find a website for that church. It is a very small country church and they just acquired the property about a year ago.
Before that they met in a tent.

Of course not.

Even if this particular group formed recently, odds are they're part of some larger Christian tradition.

FYI: when I said "church," I meant "church" in the denominational sense (e.g. the Church of England, the Russian Orthodox Church, the United Church of Christ), not necessarily a specific individual building used for worship.

They probably are part of some larger Christian tradition, I just don't know what it is. I think it is protestant from the way I heard them talking anout Catholics, but that is all I know. I am probably the only one in that GriefShare group who is not a Christian but I don't think they know it. It is awkward at best to be a Baha'i in a group of Christians so I don't want to ask too many questions. ;)

Well, even knowing that, Martin Luther was some pretty bad fruit all by himself.
