If you had unlimited power and authority...

If you had infinite power and authority, do you think you would do a better job than God(s)

I'd never want the job of running the universe. Probably wouldn't pass on the opportunity to wield infinite power and authority though. At least try it out, you know...

Do you think a world without disease, war, famine, mental illnesses, lice, ticks, confusion, and injustice would be a better world?
Disease exists to kill off the weak, like predators do. Even animals like flies and worms have jobs to do. We know so little about how the world works, I'm not sure I can make judgements.

Humans would not have it so easy. There would definitely be a Kong Island, Vampires and Werewolves would come out at night. Possibly dinosaurs would roam the earth. Humans would have sharp sticks as weapons.

What? Me worry?
Would the world be a better place? (in your opinion)

Unfortunately this is a non sequitur. Every thing is as exactly as it is suppose to be; change is illusionary at best.. The judgement calls--good, bad, etc.--are completely man made. We already have the God Power to respond to the outside forces in our lives in whatever manner we choose.

He hasn't given you reason to believe in him. That's how he does the job
So we're really talking about whether me trying to improve things above and beyond what would happen if I didn't try at all?

It's kind of a Monkey's Paw dilemma, then. Interesting.

It's basically about whether you would improve the world if you had unlimited power and authority.

I voted "no" because it is just too obvious to me that there is no vacancy to fill.
