It would be better for some but not all. You cant please everyone. You will only appease like minded folks. More than likely it would end in war and the possible extinction of humankind, if anyone ever attained that kind of power.

That is a very interesting question. You know the Bible points out that most people are righteous in their own eyes Pro 21:2 which also applies to me, therefore I am inclined to say yes, definitely better than the god that is running it now. However when the true God Jehovah takes action very soon the answer would have to be no, certainly not.

If were god, not a single child would suffer with cancer or abuse. That is far more just and righteous than what Jehovah allows for. I would also make it magically impossible to rape anyone, which is something that goes against god since he did tell the soldiers of Israel to take and keep the women of cities they invaded for themselves.

Hello. Considering that God is holy and has ultimate power, authority and knowledge it is impossible to do a better job than Him.
What if his motives aren't in line with what we'd consider "good"?

How do we even know what is good compared with an infinitely intelligent holy entity such as God?
That is irrelevant if the infinitely intelligent holy god doesn't care about goodness (or benevolence). If he wanted to be good, sure, he could probably kick our butts at it. But if he doesn't, well, his infinite intelligence doesn't really do us a lick of good.
