IHRD: your favorite movie about the Holocaust

Callisto

Hellenismos, BTW
Beautiful and depressing, two children on opposite sides become friends, The Boy in the Striped Pajamas.

A German SS officer moves his family to Poland where he's been assigned to a death camp, which is on the other side of a field behind their home. His children are told it's a farm and are forbidden to go near it. His 8 year old son, Bruno, explores anyway and befriends Schmuel (sp?), an 8 year old Jewish boy, who's alone and also does not know what is waiting for him.

There is also a US miniseries from 1978 that was very good. It was called Holocaust and had an amazing cast - Meryl Streep, James Woods, Tovah Feldshuh, David Warner, and Fritz Weaver.
