Teachers could force us to pray.
Betty Boop was on TV.
Janitors burned trash in an old 55 gallon drum on the playground.
The farm hand over on 6 Mile Road had nudist magazines.
We could find enuf returnable pop bottles on a walk along the road to the nearest town to buy a candy bar.
Hitchhiking was common. I traveled around the country that way.

I am so Young and Eternally Youthful that Everything I see and experience is so Wonderful. On the other hand, this old carcass I am toting around has a few bumps in the road. Still, it's the old worn out cars that seem to never want to quit.
