Immigrants into this country, working manual labor, will often be great workers, but I think that our american business majors and temp agencies are often taking advantage of the immigrants. The other side of the coin, is that every american parent wants to send their kids to college, and likely sees manual labor as being beneath the dignity of their offspring.Such as an estimated 40% of our crops being picked by the undocumented here in the States.
I think the right 'tool for the job' is coherent social philosophy, and it involves complicated social questions. That the military could now get involved, causes concern, as it may have the potential of being a poorly used and blunt tool, if that's what you're asking. If those doing the deporting action have an abusive mentality, then I can see that different potential events might cause serious criticism of their actions. I can see a potential for more possible division in country. I have trouble envisioning what might heal this, if division gets worseNot to disagree philosophically (I think you Yanks need tighter borders as well), but is the military really the tool for this job?
Ah, so that's what we're calling it now.No it's maintaining jurisprudence. Taking care of our own citizens is the first and foremost priority.
That is the bull in a China shop. To catch and deport illegals. What happened?
You were all bull in a China shop without a single f*** given when stating your opinion at first, but the second someone starts asking for details you clam right up

Should probably find out if he is here legally or not BEFORE making him a poster boy for deporting illegals...Can we have Deportation Poster Boy to go along with the effort to keep the troops inspired ?
Wrote the Canadian living in a glass house. The indigenous peoples of North America must be celebrating with that news. I wonder how Europe feels about getting some 200 million people.
Hey-hey, hey-ho, illegal immigrants gonna go.-President-elect Donald Trump confirmed on Truth Social early Monday morning that his incoming administration will declare a national emergency and use military resources to implement a mass deportation of illegal immigrants. The confirmation was made in response to an earlier post by Tom Fitton, journalist and president of Judicial Watch.
“GOOD NEWS: Reports are the incoming @RealDonaldTrump administration prepared to declare a national emergency and will use military assets to reverse the Biden invasion through a mass deportation program,” Fitton posted. --

I think we need to know who is in our country and why.
well I want to know exactly what america's role is around the Darien Gap. If many are coming through there, just to get here, on the basis of just trying to get low-wage work, to 'benefit our economy,' while enduring tragedy there, and a very humble life here, then it is not with a sense of castigation that I view these people. I view the situation more strictly as impersonal social instabilityPersonally I say send them walking at the same location they got here .
T minus 62 days until President Trump takes office. Just a friendly reminder! Enjoy!
Your are obviously uninformed of the proposed categories of deportees and the priority each category places them in.well I want to know exactly what america's role is around the Darien Gap. BrokenBread, I don't believe that they have more or less criminality than we do, and so I think that this poster idea may inspire overboard conduct. As well, I fear that the younger generation in america, being those that typically compose soldiers, might be getting politically less balanced.
To that statement, I can't be opposed, however, I'm having trouble envisioning this being a clean and easy process. As well, they likely wish to expand the program to those who want nothing to do with those who you named. If you read any of my posts at all on this forum, you should quickly understand that I find most issues to have a rather dense and complicated nature. Every political decision creates multiple fork paths in the futureYour are obviously uninformed of the proposed categories of deportees and the priority each category places them in.
Priority number 1# will be known criminals, gang members, & criminal drug /human trafficking cartel members.
Why would anyone be opposed to that ?
Can you name any nation in the world who accepts known foreign criminals ?
Why not ?
You came into this thread like a wrecking ball, then as soon as you were asked for some details, you turned into one of those soft little puffy balls we throw for cats.Nope . That's just you like usual putting words into people's mouths that they never said.
