The World of Faith Fellowship might just interest you if you want a cult that crawls up your backside and tries to control every aspect of your life.

To save you from reading the article here are just a few of their rules:

I am not so sure how long I would last with that particular group.

Wild. Sounds like this was a list put together based on memories of an ex-member, not an official rule list from the church. Seems weird and controlling, regardless.

There seems to be a bit of support, especially from ex-members. They were not particularly gay friendly to say the least:

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
Sounds more like a
Seven day Adventist list. Heh.

Word of Faith is the one with all the theives and con men and women like Kenneth Copeland and Joyce Meyers.

So awful. Even when I was an Evangelical I would've thought...what a twisted, legalistic, abusive church. Where in the Bible does it say a thing about beating people to exorcise them? That just sounds like an excuse.

Is this serious??? The only Word of Faith I have heard of is the Kenneth Hagin ministries. I Googled and a specifically black church came up. Obviously there are a few with the same name.

Callisto

Hellenismos, BTW
@Callisto

Is that the place that was I think on 74 near South Carolina before it closed down?
I'm not familiar with the area. I saw the article I linked to and then went to see if they had an online presence and found that Yelp entry. There had been a website but it went offline a couple of years ago (per the wayback machine), so maybe the cafe was another business casualty of the pandemic.
