Training??? On RF? When people say for the umpteenth time that thousands of people are dying, people don't listen to science, and the repeated logistics of how the efficiency of the vaccine and the same quotes from CDC? We get the point.

When people repeat the same misinformation or irrational arguments, the responses will naturally be the same. Do you expect people to change their logic for no reason or stay silent when you and others make logically flawed arguments that contradict established science?

The question (and your intention to make it) is not related to the OP.

Its sets up another snowball effect debate and this is exactly the point I'm making.

What is 'your' point in bringing this up again?

I didn't bring it up; you did:

Yeah. That's why the OP. I think we're used to the religious repeats but the political repeats. I didn't know people fuss about politics almost as if its a religion with CDC and Fox as their bibles.

The OP quite clearly appears to be an attempt to discredit arguments against some of the irrational positions you've endorsed in other threads. If you repeat said positions, it makes sense that the responses to them will also be repeated.

You are really reading into all this too much.

How you approach your disagreement and opinions about me makes it very hard to have a sound argument IF this were the place to do it in.

People repeat the same arguments on RF, and both religion and politics (example corona topics) are a huge example of it.

I see different reasons for repeat threads:
1. New members (who didn't research the archives or didn't find what they are looking for)
2. New data or a new way to represent the data
3. Amnesia/senility (here are some people who's memory might not be so sharp)
4. New members (who might be easy victims, so the apologists try again)
5. Nostalgia (we had a nice conversation last time I brought this up)
6. Unresolved topics (i.e. the last thread died on a tangent or by trolling, let's hope this will survive until I got my answers)

I blame most of the repeats on #3 followed by #4. I will engage in case of #4 so the apologists don't win by attrition.

I see a lot of 3s and 6s. After page 3 I'm pretty much forgetful but I don't think RF would survive without 6.

Yep, the 6s (unresolved topics) are also quite common. Though it is sometimes not easy to differentiate between 4 and 6. What I see as resolved may not be so to someone else. E.g. creationism vs science. People with a good science education agree that the question is solved. Not so for creationists.

I don't think I'm reading anything into this that your posts don't indicate or point to in one way or another. You even mentioned COVID discussions before I did.

Also, my disagreement and opinions that I've expressed here are about your arguments, not you as a person. I have no interest in discussing people's characters as opposed to their opinions and arguments.

People repeat the same arguments on RF, and both religion and politics (example corona topics) are a huge example of it.

What's the problem with that? I've been here for over 10 years, and some topics and arguments keep coming up frequently. Abortion, evolution, and gun laws are a few examples.

I'm not sure what point you're trying to make by pointing out the obvious.

If you like. No harm no foul here.

It's in the OP. Though, if you want to talk about COVID specifically rather than as an example then switching it to the COVID-19 forum would be better.

Religious and political topics tend to be repeated. @Heyo's post (Insanity and RF topics post 37) helps give the context of the OP.

Posts should be read in context.
