Well for starters it was placed exactly after the words corruption

The problem is, you jumped to help someone without knowing what they were saying.

Maybe you just liked them because they in the same camp as you in some way.

Try to be more objective.

There is no argument here so ciao.

Ibn Kathir, one of the foremost scholars in Islamic history, and the most widely referred to now (so it can't be dismissed as a minority or extremist opinion), stated that "spreading corruption" includes "disobeying Allah's law". Therefore it covers homosexuality.
IF "disobeying Allah's Law" means the "death-penalty"
THEN all Muslims would be dead by now
Including this Ibn Kathir
Scholar or not

Maybe I misunderstood @stevecanuck as to his use of underlining and (Fasad)
As I explained here

But

My reply was to your, IMO, false conclusion about that post
It is not about "being in the same camp" or me not knowing what they are saying

In short:
I think that @stevecanuck major point is
"killing someone because he feels differently (sexual orientation) is WRONG"

I will be very surprised if @stevecanuck tells me that I got that wrong
I always try to reply to the essence of someone's post
I am not so much interested in syntax mistakes
(I'm not saying @stevecanuck made syntax mistakes here though)

Read the posts he did in response to my post and you will probably understand.

Don't jump to defend others. Make your own case about it.

Cheers.

Qu nide.
If you can be neither civil nor thoughtful, I won't play.

I am only playing your own game. Just like you, I am practicing double standards and hypocrisy.

It's atheism that murdered all of those people. Millions. Unlike any other movement in history. It was atheism.

What's your view of Iran's decision to sentence these women to death? Do you agree with the sentence?

that's irrelevant to the bad scholarship of the OP but I will honour your question.

The answer is "of course not".
One need not have good scholarship to know "sentence these women to death" is wrong
So, @stevecanuck or @stvdv their "maybe" bad Scholarship, is irrelevant here
Every pure being knows this, even a little child, unless brainwashed differently

I will honour your question.

I knew you don't agree with the sentence:D

I am only playing your own game.
You asked a question.
I gave a straight answer.
You insulted me without any discussion of
the issue you had hidden in your question.
From this you may deduce my opinion of you.
I'll spare you the obvious.

Irrelevant. Again.

Nah. I did not insult you. I was playing your own game. Like you demonise people, I demonised people like you, and that's hypocrisy.

I only critique Islam. To see why, read the excellent post by @Spiderman (post #53).
In my view that post was not excellent at all (it was on level with the countless hateful threads you making)

Do i say everything is perfect in the Islamic world today, no it is not, if it was perfect we would not see terror from those countries.
But you seems to want to blame ONLY the islamic world and only muslims for how bad our world has become. That is not a correct view.
