Superior commonly means adaptable/plastic in my thinking. I don't think any one religion is any more adaptable than any other.I was hoping people would give their own definitions of what superior meant to them.

Greetings. In my view, the word 'religion' needs clarification before a response can be made to the OP. My response is more related to the major religions as the core from the founder rather than related to the current institutions with dogma, doctrines, rules, rituals, etc. My belief is that the heart of the core is the same - personal encounter and union with God; and that the source and aim if each and every religion is the same - the human in union with God. So, from my perspective the answer is that none is the superior for they are the same and just 'couched' differently. Is any religion superior to others? Why or why not?
A better question is what religion has done the least harm to mankind.
the least harm within christianity would be Mormons.
you may try and say "mountain meadows" but it is proven the church did not issue such an order whatsoever, that evil men conspired against a helpless family.
other than that we have done nothing but good for this world and country both temporally and spiritually.
After extensive research through a pool of choices, two have endured. Christianity or Islam. Take your pick.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; First Presidency statement, Feb. 15, 1978.The great religious leaders of the world such as Mohammed, Confucius, and the Reformers, as well as philosophers including Socrates, Plato, and others, received a portion of God's light. Moral truths were given to them by God to enlighten whole nations and to bring a higher level of understanding to individuals.
A good man, is a good man, whether in this church, or out of it. - Brigham Young
The Life Story of Brigham Young, p. 149-150Don't try to tear down other people's religion about their ears, Build up your own perfect structure of truth, and invite your listeners to enter in and enjoy it's glories.
A challenge of sport to departing ministers who came to debate the scriptures with Smith at his home.Now gentlemen, you haven't bested me at the scriptures. See if you can best me at {jumping the mark}

I was not aware of that quote.
Well now I know Mormons are a lot more open minded then other Christian denominations are!
I say this to other people: you develop all the good you can. We have no animosity toward any other church. We do not oppose other churches. We never speak negatively of other churches. We say to people: you bring all the good that you have, and let us see if we can add to it.

Clearly Asatru is the best, although any other folkish religion is fine by me.
Heh, no. Most pagans I've seen are pretty universalist. Folkish would be more along the lines of a tribal religion: Asatru, Judaism, most Native American religions I suppose (although I know less about them). Not a religion for everyone I suppose. What qualifies as folkish?
Pagan?
Is any religion superior to others? Why or why not?
I would agree with that 100%. The thing is that people often ask me in real life what is my "magic secret" and I just smile, because that, in essence, IS the secret. My world is the best of all possible worlds, for me. I imagine YmirGFs world is the best of all possible worlds to him too.
Did you know that LDS sponsored the building of Hindu temples?
I am grateful to them for that.
