Is being gay a sin according to your religion?

I suspect they can't. Empathy is required and requires certain biological traits to accomplish it, like mirror neurons. I think they are permanently stuck at a toddler's level of self-vs-other.
Yet plenty of people with disorders that impair empathy have more concern for others and can better put themselves in the "shoes of another" than what many Conservatives demonstrate. Although they can do this. But their religious worldview heavily distorts how they view reality, and instead of seeing a group of minorities suffering at the hands of a religious majority they will see a group of sinners who only need to turn to god for a better life. However, within their own in-group, they do just fine at displaying empathy and putting themselves in the shoes of another.

And his attitude killed him.

********* The More You Know ...
I doubt it's understood what politically incorrect means, in the context of what you posted. Anymore, many Conservatives it seems take the term to mean "not afraid to say something that may upset someone" and Jesus certainly would not have been using the language that the idea of political correctness revolves around. If "calling them how you see them" and "upsetting someone" is politically correct, then social workers are some of the most politically incorrect people around, despite the field heavily leaning towards Leftist social policy.

I believe I have no portion with that.

I believe there are no such people.

I believe it is anything that is not in harmony with the will of God.
Again I'm sure we have very DIFFERENT ideas of what is or is not in harmony with the will of God. And what idea do you have which is "the will of God"?
I'm sure you have no right to be that person who can throw the stone and certainly you have no right to judge other people whether gay or not.

That's a very old post you replied to - like three years old.

Yeah, don't expect me to follow that narrative. Especially when mental disorders amongst homosexuals are largely caused by intolerant bigots making their lives difficult. Gee, who would have thought that when you're treated like garbage by a society you get stressed out and mentally unstable?
Actually studies show that whether a LGBTQxyz feels accepted or not had no influence on mental illness, particularly for those after undergoing transgender.

Mental illness is essentially inability to understand &/or deal with reality. That is what gender identity disorder and homosexuality is based on, besides the cognitive distortion of emotional reasoning. To them, biological facts come second to what they feel; they define reality by what they feel, another aspect of mental illness.

I checked. They don't say it is harmful. And they say nothing about "beliefs going against biology and anatomy." They do, however, as I would very much like to point out, they do consider your beliefs to be a contributing factor contributing to risks of LBGT, and labels them as "unfair."
For Your Health | Gay and Bisexual Men's Health | CDC

Then quit spreading bull**** about them and insisting they are self-destructive when it is those like you who cause LBGT people so much grief, pain, and agony. It's not your life, so bugger off.
Look at the facts rather than get distracted by and try to distract with emotional reasoning and shifting blame. Ie: It is a medical and physiological FACT that the anus is anatomically designed for poop to exit, not to be an entrance. When it is used as an entrance in anal sex, there are risks of anal fissures, anal cancer, colon rulture and bacterial infection. Why? Because the anus is not meant to be an entrance. Why do you ignore facts like this and STDs, mental illness, drug abuse & AIDS/HIV? How it is “bigots” fault for them sleeping around and spreading disease? Is it “bigots” fault that the anus is an “exit only”?

Do you know what bigotry means? Intollerance to opinions other than your own. Ie: Calling names (like bigot) to those who refuse to deny physiological facts.

The body is not "designed". Evolution and adaptation have no designs or blueprints in mind. Most people with HIV/AIDS are heterosexuals who got it from hetero sex. So you can't use that in your bigoted rants. As for the other issues with anal sex, that's solved by using condoms and lots of lube. People enjoy anal play because there's a lot of nerve endings in the area and the prostate is next to it in males. Anal play is very popular among straights and there's gay and bisexual men who don't even like anal sex. There's plenty of straight people who sleep around. So none of what you bring up is specific to LGBT people. Fail.

Rich irony! Or is it hypocrisy! Either way - rich!
In order to establish logical credibility, if you disagree with someone, you don’t engage in ad hominem attack logical fallacy like you just did. Rather, you explain in reasonable terms WHY you disagree with them, otherwise readers are left to assume you do not know how to respond logically, thus you don’t.

I suppose if you want to redefine mental illness in a way that doesn't match up with actual clinical diagnoses, your argument has a certain logic to it. I'd be careful with that though, considering you demonstrate an inability to understand and deal with the reality of LGBTQ+ life. Funny how redefining things tends to bite one in the rear, isn't it?

You’re now trying logical fallacy by pretending that just because others get STDs too, we can just ignore the statistical fact that those engaging in homosexuality have a much much higher rate of STDs, AIDS/HIV.

It is not just my opinion - the anatomical nature of men and women are explained in many medical books and your and my and every other human being’s existence testifies to reproductive facts. All of the feeling in the world does not change those facts, and insisting otherwise reveals an inability to grasp such undeniable and self-evident realities.

So do ethnic minorities like black and Latino people. Of course minorities and the poor are going to be harder hit with those things due to lack of access to care and discrimination. A black, poor LGBT person is going to be worse off than all the rest. Duh. Try again.

This reveals little about others and much more about you and your upbringing.

Next time your workplace offers LGBTQ+ diversity training, I recommend attending.

If that was it, then it would be impossible to derive sexual stimulation and pleasure from anal play.
When it is used as an entrance in anal sex, there are risks of anal fissures, anal cancer, colon rulture and bacterial infection.
There are risks that are inherent with vaginal/penile sex. In all reality, just getting out of the house or even staying home comes with inherent risks. And those things you mention, they are common with several bowel disorders. So should we tell someone how terrible their lifestyle is because they got an anal fissure from being constipated?

Do you know what bigotry means?
So this is how you respond when called out on a blatant lie? You made a claim, and I was able to reveal your claim was false.

Reproduction isn't the only goal of sex.

That is nonsense.

I implore you to educate yourself.

Muffled

Jesus in me
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion." And if you need religion to tell you things like theft, rape, and murder are wrong then I question your sense of morality, even if you have any concept of a moral compass.

I believe that raises the question of what religion is. Are laws in the Bible part of the religion or simply laws. Granted the source for those laws is better than man's messed up thinking but hen thieves think laws against theft are unjust. Why should it be any different with any other law; when the person doesn't like the law simply blame the source.
