I believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is profitable for correction, reproof, and instruction in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16) and that it reveals the almighty God.

I believe that Jesus is the eternal, self-existent God and is not a created being. Even though He is fully God, He took upon Himself the form of a man to live and die for our sins. John1:1-5,14 Romans 8:3

I believe that the penalty for man's sin was paid on the cross of Calvary in Jesus' death. "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23. By believing on Jesus Christ and accepting the grace of His shed blood, we receive the gift of eternal life. "Not of works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:9.

Because I love Jesus for His sacrificial death, I want to obey Him as he commands in John 14:15. We are not saved by our works; but, because we are saved, we choose to keep His commandments as the guide for successful living.

I believe that prophecy reveals Jesus is coming again very soon. Matthew 24: 32-51.
The Bible tells me so... my personal beliefs

How do you feel about Daniel & Revelation?
I "feel" ok.... I guess....

Again, I don't focus too much on one aspect of the faith... I love Jesus Christ and continue to work out my salvation with fear and trembling.... as far as Daniel & Revelation help that, I can't say exactly.

Did you have a question about something specific?

One miracle is Bible unity in and of itself?
The 66 books of the Bible were written:
1. On three continents.
2. In three languages.
3. By about 40 different people (kings, shepherds, scientists, attorneys, an army general, fishermen, priests, and a physician).
4. Over a period of about 1,500 years.
5. On the most controversial subjects.
6. By people who, in most cases, had never met.
7. By authors whose education and background varied greatly.

What the Bible says about itself:

The Bible says, "All scripture is given by inspiration of God." 2 Timothy 3:16. "Prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost." 2 Peter 1:21. "The scripture cannot be broken." John 10:35.
Do Bible prophesies confirm the Bible?
The Bible says, "I am the Lord . . . new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them." Isaiah 42:8, 9. "I am God . . . Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done." Isaiah 46:9, 10.
There are 125 Old testament prophesies concerning Jesus of Nazareth
and they all came true

Dr. Peter Stoner, former chairman of the departments of mathematics, astronomy, and engineering at Pasadena College (California), worked with 600 students for several years applying the "principle of probability" to the prophecies of the Messiah's coming. They chose just eight from the many available and finally decided the chances of all eight being fulfilled in one man in a lifetime is one in 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000. What would the odds be on the more than 125 prophecies of the Messiah

One miracle is Bible unity in and of itself?

Which bible canon?

The Latin?
Orthodox?
Ethiopian?
Protestant (pick a translation/version)?

How did you decide which books went into your bible?

Or did you just pick it up at the bookstore and assume God made only the one?
