We're talking about Jesus' Kingdom as the Isaiah reference doesn't directly deal with that but instead deals with the end of the Babylonian Exile. The other symbols used appear to refer to peace.you really dont know what the kingdom is going to do ,, humm
what Isaiah has to say
Again, you missed the point as the number 1000 is the highest number in ancient Hebrew and is symbolic of "large numbers". As I mentioned previously, the "thousand years" reign does not show up even once in any other Christian source, thus the feeling was and is that it is symbolic of a large stretch of time.that has not happened yet .it will only happen in the kingdom reign of 1000 years
BTW, why do you seem not to believe in "God's calling" us? I told you why I returned to the Church because of His "calling", and yet you seemingly insinuate that this is not possible. Do you believe God can through the Holy Spirit can give some a "calling", or is it that your hatred, judgementalism, and/or bigotry that stops you from understanding that?
