Lets cut the BS and arrest the CEO's & politicians, and the rest of the clowns who are ignorant as to the benefits of medicinal cancer - life saving & life changing.
Unfortunately, the "clowns" have all the say at present. We would like to move them to shame and to feel some compassion, but alas, they don't seem to feel either. It has something to do with the structure of corporations and their influence on governments.
It is interesting to read up on what a corporation is according to the legal system.
Here is the definition...a Corporation is
"a large company or group of companies authorized to act as a single entity and recognized as such in law." Now imagine a group of men and women who make up such a corporation, who are all dedicated to making their bottom line as healthy as possible so that they can continue to earn ridiculous amounts of money and gain bonuses on top of that hefty salary. There is no single person to whose conscience one can appeal. As a single entity, devoted to making money, they all engage in propping up the corporation's business interests that keep them employed and facilitates their lifestyle, health cover etc. Anyone who rocks that boat will be punished and their character sullied...their reputation destroyed. ....we all know what happens to whistle-blowers.
We know too that government policy is influenced by big business. That is the way the system works and has done since the Industrial Revolution changed forever the way humans earn their living.
The problem is their are men and women who put profit above health, and the beauty is that we outnumber those who dictate what we as adults can do - when the penny drops then the revolution will begin in earnest. A peaceful revolution !
According to the Bible, a revolution is coming that will be anything but peaceful.
Humanity will rise up and it will not be pretty. Imagine the worst time of trouble the earth has ever experienced and then imagine something worse. Jesus called it "the great tribulation" and it was part of the sign that he gave to signal the end of corrupt human rulership over mankind. (Matthew 24:21)
I am an anarchist, which simply put equates to self rule, in a peaceful way. Anarchy is not about violence, it is a peaceful way of life. I have been an anarchist my whole life and I have never been arrested - you see some people believe that anarchy is about violence, it isn't.
I have great respect for peaceful protesters, but unfortunately, their voices are not heard because of the roar of the present system.
Jesus himself never advocated anarchy, but told his disciples that when the law of the land demanded something that was not forbidden by the laws of God, they were to comply. However, when the authorities demanded that they break the laws of God, they too were happy to be arrested rather than to compromise. That is having the courage of your convictions and this is something that requires the right kind of courage....not the kind that resorts to violence, but the sort that is courageous despite the odds. (Matthew 5:29-41) Its called integrity and Jesus had it in spades. What a great role model!
The violence of those who are not anarchists can be seen in the Middle East, Africa, UK, USA, and well most places.
We can also see that peaceful demonstrations are often spoiled by those who want to introduce violence and then the peaceful message is lost in the process, and becomes tarnished by the actions of a violent few. No one wins.
Sometimes "rent-a-crowd" is brought in to deliberately start the violence.
Jesus and his disciples were good role models for all of us. They did not stir the pot politically in the first century although they reason to. The Romans were oppressing the Jews and there was a movement afoot to bring about a revolt. These Zealots were recruiting men for their cause. The disciples refused to be drawn into the argument. They just got on with their own business as best they could, of spreading the peaceful message about the incoming Kingdom (government) of God that they believed would solve all of man's problems without a single human having to raise a hand. (Daniel 2:44; Matthew 10:11-15; 2 Thess 1:6-9)
It is comforting to know that the incoming government of God will end all oppression, suffering and injustice. (Revelation 21:2-4) Bring it on I say !
