Lyndon, no one is suggesting that kids "smoke" anything. Medicinal Cannabis oil is taken orally like any other medicine....often just a few mls. I have seen one parent stop his child's seizure by rubbing it on the soles of his feet. It can also be used as a suppository. We have receptors all over our bodies so that we take up the cannabinoids readily because they are natural, not a synthetic, artificially produced drug, that our bodies react to in a negative way...that is what produces side effects, which can be worse than the actual illness in many cases. You have prejudices which seem to blind you to the truth.
People are free to exercise their own conscience in this matter. Where Cannabis is legal, people should try it out for its medicinal qualities, even for the calming effect it has in a stressful life. Alcohol does the same but no one seems to mind that drug.
If God put it here for our benefit, then why is man trying to keep it from us? I can only see sinister motives.

And still my supermarket uses plastic bags. If they all stopped, made to by law, then people would be forced to remember to bring their bags with them or to buy biodegradable and reusable ones in store. How hard is it really?

In many cases, they are legally protected from wrong doings, and many politicians are pushing to make such a blanket exemption.
But, that's also America. I don't know how other places do it. Here, drug companies are the main drug dealers, with the "talk to your doctor" and free samples and goodies for the doctors.

Deeje, its all about control and money. This sacred plant is in my opinion the Tree of Life. It is medically what I call a hero. I asked a former doctor friend of mine, who was an open sort of chap, what his thoughts were regarding cannabis as a medical wonder drug and he nodded his head and then said it is a better option than many of big pHarma's products.
My friend had Stage 4 bowel cancer and she cured it by taking cannabis oil. Stunned her consultant !
Off topic I know, but Manuka Honey is being researched because it has healing properties. When my mother was an out patient for leg ulcer care the nurse dealing with my mum was going to New Zealand to find out more about it.

Many doctors are waking up to the fact that they have been hoodwinked about this harmless plant.
We all know that the system is broken but who will mend it? No one seems to have the gumption to speak up and change the laws. We have to ask why, when our loved ones are suffering needlessly and the evidence for the value of this natural healing plant is there for all to see. They have run out of excuses and the truth is out there.
There is more than one cure for cancer, but the head medicos and big pharma will not allow the truth to be told.

Yes, yet another natural solution.....it has been used here in Oz for leg ulcers with great success by those who had no success with the orthodox medical approach. Natural is best, but the power is great, the propaganda is convincing and people are gullible.
Until doctors access the truth for themselves, they will go on believing what the drug companies' funded research suggests. There is a better way that does not result in more suffering. The "them" and "us" mentality with complementary medicine needs to go. Medicine is medicine....and what counts is whether it works or not.....not who prescribes it.....we can see the clear evidence that orthodox medicine is not really healing many at all. It is 'treating' them and offering some symptomatic relief, but no cures are ever forthcoming. Patients are really only customers to the pharmaceutical industry.
Yes, it is astounding that medicinal cannabis could solve so many health problems and hemp could solve the world's pollution problems in so many areas.....plastic, clothing, shoes, rope, bio-fuel....and the list goes on and on....yet somewhere along the line, some greedy people wanted to make money and saw unnatural ways to make it rich. When money becomes more important than humanity, humans cease being human.

We are not here discussing smoking pot for recreational use.....different strains of the plant are used medicinally. Used in its raw state is beneficial for overall health and well-being. You seem to be denying that.
Do you see all varieties of this plant as equally bad.....what about industrial hemp, which is useless as a drug but fantastic for many other uses? It is related to marijuana but cannot be used as a drug. They banned this harmless plant because it was a threat to other polluting industrial products, promoted by the big corporations.
Please educate yourself because people like you just perpetuate the myth that all cannabis is bad....that is just NOT TRUE.

Deeje, sadly we are controlled by this monster. Its lunacy sees Sky Sport pay the FA £8.3 Billion for the rights to broadcasts the majority of the English Premier League's football matches ! Its going to the wrong people - starving - homeless - elderly - disabled are more deserving. Imagine what could be achieved if even half the amount was given to non govermental organisations and charities to bring change and healing. Idealist or day dreamer I here you say - but it COULD be done !!!

We should perhaps listen to the children. They seem to see things more clearly than a lot of adults.
I am reminded of the words of Jesus who said "the meek shall inherit the earth".....I'm sure he doesn't intend to give us a dead planet. He just needs to evict the ones who are messing things up. (Revelation 11:18)
When he taught us how to pray in the Lord's Prayer, he said "thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven". I see his words relating to a prophesy in Daniel 2:44.....speaking about the current world rulers.....
“In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed. And this kingdom will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it alone will stand forever."
Those words give all his disciples hope for better rulership in the not too distant future. The "kingdom" that Jesus taught us to pray for is a world government, not of man's making, but of God himself. He is the one who will rectify this situation without any action required on our part. This is my hope for the future....

To choose vegetarianism today is a personal choice that many people make, but again it is a matter for individuals to decide.

Since the Bible says that a water canopy once surrounded the earth, (Genesis 1:6-7) and this source of water was used in the flood of Noah's day, climatic conditions would have changed dramatically after that event. Perhaps it was to compensate for those changed conditions that God allowed the consumption of meat for humans? Whatever the reason, once God has solved the problems of abuse on this planet, all will return to its original state. That is my belief.
