Is God really THE god?

how doest that make it impossible? It makes it impossible to think God is a good entity, maybe... but still doesn't contradict its existence based on the bible.
---
In the bible, God is depicted as the God of everything.
What makes you believe there is a separate God for the solar system?
It does make it impossible because those sections in the OT are inconsistent and stupid besides making God evil. So unless you believe that an all-powerful God can also be stupid, there is no need to take the OT as the truth.

As I said the NT is written by many authors (not by God as you want to assume). I do take the words of Jesus in NT as the truth, but you don't have to. Jesus never said that the Father that he talks about, is the only God there is. That the solar system has higher God than the Father is just for your information/consideration - you don't need to believe it.

thanks. Will probably do.
But will this provide a hint about the validity of God's words?

I believe it will serve as a good foundation to understand the language the text is revealed in... The circumstances of the revelation and their application, this would help you validate the Word. The spiritual validation can also come from your heart.

I must have missed this evidence . . . what evidence?
There is a difference between blatant disregard what has been written and overlooking.
I believe the first refers to your replies regarding what has been written. You cannot debate with a person who does not regard the information or evidence used in
any religion but their own. My stance is that I have studied other religions and I know what truth really matters.
However you don't show any knowledge or ability to actually accept or even take in the evidence and why it is evidence.
A close mind and a hard heart cannot learn anything.,

Define what you mean by TRUTH here?

You mean geography wise?

I Actually know too many who haven't (been blessed).
Well.. it depends what you mean by "blessed"

Like?

Yet Israel had so many wars during it's short existence period. I doubt they all were all due to fear of Jews?

What do you mean by shown everywhere?

I think you need to go back and read my original posts. It could be you know nothing about Abraham and his history with God.
If you read my post and the history of Abraham from the bible it will become self-explanatory.

In other words there is no evidence, gotcha.

How can you know?

Lets say the bible (OT, NT or whatever depiction of Mono-God there is) is true. that indeed these are the words of the one we call God.
Everything we know about God is based on God itself.

Maybe God is not really THE god? rather on of other gods?
Maybe he is actually an evil God and only pretends to be good?

What is one's source of knowing God without any scripture or information that doesn't come from the Entity itself?

God is just another name for the foul mouthed extremely violent filthy whore named Ishtar who wanted to be identified as the sole Creator. Ishtar was called Gawd in Arcadia and this is how this word became positioned in peoples minds.
This word God is a part of the veil which has been thrown over mankind, Ishtar is the great usurper, the deceiver, the fallen one. She is Venus, she is the Lucifer which has been mistakenly believed to be male by those who do not investigate their biblical writings confusing with her son, her only begotten son who separated earth from the heavens.
Take a good look at the biblical writings, Where does it say Lucifer is a male ?, it doesn't.
Its a good question but the way it is structured shows the depth of deception because God created nothing and is only a destroyer.
God is not the name of mankind's Creator and our Creator had a father himself, he says so in the old testament.

I'm sure you are free to believe this.

I am just as free to disagree. Biblically, of course.

in the scheme of superlatives.....there is only ONE....Almighty
it stands to reason
there is ONE ....whose will cannot be set aside or circumvented

There is a mystical saying.....God can only reveal God to God.

It is actually quite logical when one considers another mystical saying......God is one, nothing separate from God can ever enter into God.

Where is the kingdom of God to be found?
the kingdom is within you
I think I am quoting the Carpenter

Why can't people just admit that we just don't know. Full stop. Believe what you want, but no one knows.

The Bible is the most widely read and influential book, guide to life, in the history of humanity. I'd say that was consistent with being the devine ispiration of the God

The kalam argument for God works in a way but it does not state which God or the qualities of God.
  1. Whatever begins to exist has a cause for its coming into being.
  2. The universe began to exist.
  3. Therefore, the universe has a cause for its coming into being.
Most people would agree with the first premise. Science seems to be supporting the second premise with theories like the big bang. Which then leads to the conclusion in point 3. Though it doesn't state that the cause was God I think it is pointing to some sort of intelligence as a cause cannot exist without intelligence.

You cannot see the woods for the trees. You need to learn the definition of 'evidence' when it comes to things like 'faith' and God.
JEWS is the clue many of them.
Faith is simply lack of objective evidence. Now that you've been telling me what I need to do for the last few posts, it's my turn.

You need to step out of fairytale land, at some point we all realize Santa Claus doesn't really exist, same thing with this imaginary god meme. You have absolutely zero evidence for his existence but a whole lot of hope that he does. An abridged, heavily edited book, written by men in the first place, is all you go on. Which is not enough for most rational people.

Faith does not equal truth.

just wait for your last breath and still feel the need to stand up.....

and you just might
and then God and heaven will show up to see whatever stood up from the dust

it's rational to say.....
if you fail to stand from your carcass...off to the grave you will go
eternal darkness is not a fairy tale
It's real
no form of light follows anyone into the grave
no sunlight, no moonlight, no candle light and no philosophical light

really is dark down there

As you rightly point out, we only know from stories that come from those recognized as authoritative or from God Himself. One has to wonder how God knows He is God.
